Things That Tick Me Off the Most on Onigiri

Postby Karasuki » 31 Jul 2014, 22:21

Ok Cyberstep, I've been playing your game for a month and I've gathered up my personal opinions that TICK ME THE F*** OFF. I hope you read this thread and fix these annoying, horrible game features.

Image

To start off my list, this is relevant to mostly all players of Onigiri

FOOD CONSUMPTION DURING BATTLE

When im hurt in battle, i need to come to a COMPLETE stop (knowing there are enemies charging at me) and shove a small piece of sushi down my characters throat to heal.....why must i stop? Why cant i run and eat it to heal? This bugs me off the most. I need to stop to eat a sushi BUT i dont need to stop when i gulp down a whole cup of booze?

SKILL COOLDOWN WHEN RESURRECTING

When my character resurrects from a death, the skills reset. This is really annoying because i have to run away and wait for my skills to recharge while enemies charge toward me.

PARTNERS ARE USELESS WHEN SUMMONED

Ok seriously, no one ever summons partners because they're so weak and do hardly any damage. Wouldn't it be a LOT more useful if we summon partners to i dont know...repair weapons, use storage, or evolve a skill? I need to drag my a** all the way back to town to repair a weapon that Yoshi breaks anyways, get annoyed by the immense lag on the way, and go back at my point.

And the LAST thing that annoys me in this game

YOSHI'S WAY OF THE REPAIR

Oh yay! Another bad repair...even if Yoshi's repair skill is high, she manages to get a bad repair over a great repair about 3/1.
Great Repair - You earned 10-15 Durability!
Bad Reapair - You just lost 80 Durability...deal with it.

OH WAIT THERES MORE

YOSHI'S WAY OF THE SMELT

95% Success! 85% Success! 75% or lower, FAIL FAIL FAIL FAIL, Success!
Ok seriously? 95% is really actually 85% And 75% is more like 45% by what i have experienced.
I've gotten like 3 Fails on a 95% before..

WEAPON BREAKS ON SMELT

You spend like 10m coins on a high level weapon trying to quote "pimping" it to the max but have to suffer the chances of having it blown up because the stakes get too high. I don't mind having a weapon loss %, but knowing that Yoshi is an untrusting f*ck, 10% automatically turns to 50%.
Please please please make it to 5% max, we're already suffering from the fail repair/smelt.

I figure the skill cooldown thing is just to give an immediate death penalty (along with less exp gained), afaik the cooldown doesnt apply when using soul eggs.

Yeah partners suck, I won't deny that. Susanoo used to be a lot stronger I think? but I don't remember.

The higher the remaining durability the less chance she will repair badly, so if you want to raise your dura to 2k just lose one and repair again till she gets enough great successes.

The smelting loss *isn't even intended* to be in our version of the game but it has conveniently not been fixed

"- Failure in Smelting a weapon will not destroy it, but will just lower the durability" - by Ringo Tarte » 09 Jun 2014, 02:48

Smelting chances would be fine if this was actually the case.

It's intended all right

"Our apologies for the confusion, please let me explain in detail.
Instead of giving 100% weapon elimination at all time, weapon loss will now only happen when you are trying more difficult, higher-level smelting at a certain rate depending on the difficulty.
You can prevent the loss by using Charms or with the Artisan Option, giving you the options of "take the risk", "spend OC" or to "spend Ryou". "

"Oh you died in combat on a high level dungeon because you're too low level because the leveling system in the game is too slow? And because the quests dont give enoigh exp and there are HUGE level gaps in areas? Well here's a death penalty and a cooldown reset on your skills"

RNG... 95% =/= 100% ... i for one treat all %'s as 50-50, either you get it or get screwed...

Oh im sorry, i forgot to add another annoying feature

THE LONG A** LOADING SCREEN

I spend about 30 seconds to 1 minutes staring at the freaking loading screen because there's a lot of lag because CS added outfits that cause lag

Ooops my bad another one

SKIP CUTSCENES IN PARTY PLEASE

Let's be honest, sometimes we don't want to listen to the cut scenes in dungeons. So why block the feature in party? If we dont want to watch it. DONT MAKE US. Sometimes my party members think im AFK because i cant reply and tell them im forced to watch this stupid cut scene, sorry i cant help.

Ok Franchi here's the thing. I dont have any reset buttons NOR repair fairies because Yoshi is like a freaking tank and just destroys them all. I lost all my repair fairies when i was about level 40ish.. And reset buttons are hard to get

And Franchi...In MMO's ive played (RIFT) i didnt need to heal much because the HP regeneration was a lot faster... and there was a long cooldown on Potions that made them useless.

So stop acting like a smartass. I bet most people who play this experience the same problems as do i

Also, im only 16 and i dont have money to buy stuff like Soul Eggs, or Reset buttons.

I try to pray to my luck that i would get them in a lucky box, which i hardly do because i mostly get Hi Potion and Skill cards

Maybe you just have terrible RNG.
Most MMO's, I've played make you stop to use recovery items. It's too overpowered if you don't stop.
