Spear Build

Postby Karasuki » 01 Aug 2014, 12:21

Is it worth it maxing out a single stat? For me, it's the Vitality. I saw other spearmen talking about putting points in Strength and their Vitality was like 60. I just need an answer on what's the BEST thing for me to do to get the best results.

I received advice from a level 65 spear build some days ago. She said up until her level, she had put all her points into vitality, and was soon to be experimenting with dex.

I'm a spear build, and took her advice of pouring all my stat points into vit. I've never been happier because I can actually fight now instead of being completely useless in Kyoto except for healing purposes. (I went the vit/mnd road before).

It's honestly up to you, as far as secondary stats go. For spear builds, dex is a tertiary stat in terms of importance. Some people like making pow their secondary stat as it gives a (read: minimal) boost to spears. Then there's people that just want to be rounded and do vit/mnd for the healing and tank effectiveness.

Add: In terms of best results- should you not want more sp for skills, full points to vitality should be your best bet. The increase from putting points into power is very minimal compared to putting everything in vitality.
