Lol If you wanna get carried atleast support the Carrier, sp heal and speed boosts are enough to help

Except that almost no one wants to support when the supports get boned rather hard by the game.

Oh and fun fact, I ran out of repair fairies about 3 days ago because I haven't gotten a single one for ~12 levels. You wanna know why? It's because supports use durability (rather heavily might I add because cure 7 costs 70 durability a cast, invig 5 is 10 a cast, rapid storm is also 10 and cure 4 is 40 so Yoshitsune fails rather often due to the amount of durability lost) and we get no lucky boxes at all (save for the few that we get while soloing dungeons for the quest line). Not to mention our attacks are pitiful enough that grinding for lucky boxes is far harder than it needs to be (no good skills = longer clear times = more time needed for the same number of lucky boxes).

At this point, it's more profitable to leech than it is to support (same exp, same items, no risk of dying to stray mobs, no durability consumption and you get time to do something like read manga). And you wonder why no one wants to support the carry.

Here we go, once again Heimarmene found another thread to spread his "why support when you can be totally useless" virus

And just so you know, I made 2 bows from ~1300 duration to 2000, using 6 repair fairies in the process after approximately 1.2k repairs. Feed your Yoshitsune

Same here, that's why I make parties with a specific level range. No one should be slacking off in a party, even leeches should all be partial supports.

The problem isn't the xp rates. People can easily gain levels and get anything they want in the game -besides nyankoropon spins- w/ the right amount of time and effort dumped into it.

I solo everything, I'm undescribably grateful there are no level requirements, only "suggestions", so I need not to grind.

Echoing the two posts above. I love soloing.
So far, the only grind I've experienced is the need for ryou (I chose to upgrade expensive weapons), but really,I look at it as farming, more.
I happen to gain exp while I farm, and I haven't been disappointed at my casual progress at all. To be honest, if we had the JP exp rate of x10, I would have finished the content way too fast. THEN there's nothing left to do but grind.
Problem is the "hurry up so we can get bored with the endgame as quick as possible!" mentality.

Oh, I have Yoshitsune as high as she can go right now and I have my stuff at 2k durability already (staves and wands don't need repair fairies to get to 2k durability and it's rather quick also). Thing is, supports are currently getting the short end of the stick on almost everything at this point. EXP? Same as the leecher but we have to put in work. Ryou and drops? Same as leechers again. Durability usage? About as high as the carry. Effort? Second only to the carry since only 2 people actually do work in a party anymore. Damage? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, what damage? As far as things go, there's no upside to being a staff at this point (heck, I'm wondering why I'm still putting points into MND at this point myself other than to see big green numbers pop up). The only skill that could have made staves more worthwhile is currently removed from the game because CS.

Honestly, being the support feels like you're being a sucker at this point. Probably would've re-rolled another character if I wasn't too lazy to make new characters :/

Yes CS, why on earth would you make something called support. People can just do without, and leaches don't have to be killed trying to help. Everyone's happy with the 1 person doing everything and everyone else watch youtube system already in place, why bother give someone the temptation that they might be able to help out, just so they could accidentally agro some mobs and die a pointless death. Anyone who plays it is just braindead stupid its a freaking useless thing just take it out.

Closing note: the downs are stronk around here

lol, never said supports aren't needed since I know darn well they are needed. But the fact that they're needed and treated the same as leechers is stupid as hell. Why in the world should someone that's doing something be treated the same as someone twiddling their thumbs?

Wow damn your opinion changes fast in face of opposition. Calling people stupid for being support cause they have all disadvantage and no advantage at all, to "oh they're needed and welcomed"
