Just to make sure you've got it right,

Once you get a title through Amaterasu, you will retain it regardless of whether or not you still fulfill the requirements. In this case if you sold the Kagehide the title would remain with you and not disappear. If you changed your title and wanted the Date Masasume title back, you would need to get another +60 Kagehide.

Uh the normal ones or the dark colored ones? I know the normal ones spawn in nether seki on the left hand side of the map. As for the dark colored ones, I don't really know where to farm them at but Grotto has like 4 of them in the last room.

From numbers alone, Axe > Odachi > Spear in terms of damage. However, from what I know Spear has the most AoE while Odachi has slightly less and Axe has a lot less. Axe also has the longest casting time of the three.

Axe = Slowest attack speed, Highest single skill output damage, lowest Area of Effect/Range. (except Ougis), combined with Way of Axe and Fierce of God Focus and pure POW you can OHKO skill almost all enemies around your level even higher than your level, including bosses. (of course you need to upgrade your axe too).

Odachi = I don't really know, since just try using it by my friend's account, it's rather slow, range better than axe, skills output damage below Axe a bit.

Spears = Slow Attack Speed, has Widest Skill Output, WDS 7 and Ice Blossom 7 especially (including Ougis)
