I have no idea about what restriction is outside of what the wiki says but based on what it says, restriction has the same damage as collapsing arrow so its damage should be rather high. And the point of the post was to say that staff offensive skills are bad compared to other weapons and for some reason you seem to be suggesting that staff offensive skills aren't bad compared to other weapons.

Yes if there's damage it means the skill is aoe.... Seriously, of all the skills for different weapon, you just happens to pick a bow skill, and one that hits only 1 target

I solo everything, I'm undescribably grateful there are no level requirements, only "suggestions", so I need not to grind.

actually, you need lvl 60 to proceed in the main story quest line once you enter echigo

Actually, they don't have to be 60 to do Echigo/ do the outside dungeons , by to do the estate , under/sado, they will have to get to 60 , cuase of susano, but they can do the other quest in the high way , without 60.


Just like they can get to Echigo, without being level 60 as so many thing. Just saying.

O.O cuz I'm totally not too lazy to make a new account or level a new character (sarcasm). But as far as his/her point goes though, it's still true... Staff damaging spells aren't nearly as good as the skill for other weapons. I mean what other weapon has you standing still for as long as chase blister or holy light?

. I guess not Restriction, since I don't play bows I just guess.. The Ougi bows that has a lot of AOE/reach that shots 3 times like a Water Cannon. What is the name of the Ougi?

It clears all the mobs in front of you to your furthest back efficiently.

i think they all have their own style on playing this game...

and i don't think it is wrong to have their own style...

as for me, i do things in game for a reasons...

if i want to get ryou to upgrade my weapons or friendship items to level up my partners, it is better to leech. because it is faster that way,
if i want to grind my level but i can't carry in hell mode, i prefer to solo hard mode, it is still okay if the exp lower than you leech.
you still can grind your skill levels, evolve/extract your skills in order to get your perfect weapon.

i prefer to solo hard-hell mode in Cave Of Dreams/Screams in lv10 until lv17 or so than leeching in kishiden hell.
i do suzaku hard mode than leeching in byakko until i reach level to carry in byakko.
the same with Shinoda Forest, and at my current level, i prefer to make a perfect weapon, so i grind my skill levels in Momiji Well hard/hell mode than leeching in Secluded Forest.

i only leech when i'm lazy to grind on my own or just to be a filler in a party, and it's not that bad to leech.
just play on your own style, and if there are other people that not match with your style, it's not like you can tell them that they are wrong or something like that. it's fine as long as they are happy with their style. if they have fun that way. if they reach their goal by doing that. there is nothing wrong with that.

You can actually benefit your staff, by adding up some/a little MND into your character, by gimping your damage a bit.

At least, you can rapid storm yourself, and cast meditation for self-SP healing.

As for healer have same damage output as a bow, I never mention asking healer have the same damage output as bow.

Only asking to have a good attack AOE mob-control skills that other weapons have, be it Ougis, or normal upgraded skills.

You are free to do what you want, dude. No one forces you. .

You don't even need to become support player to use staffs.

Hybrid is good anyway, combining best of both worlds. Only, if you go to the path of hybrid, your damage will be gimped. That's all.
