You already have 3000 Affinity. Dex doesn't increase attack, it increases affinity, which is capped at 3000.

You could use Pierce Element if you're using a lot of non-elemental skills, but otherwise there aren't other viable options.

My suggestion is probably the backup option (haven't done any dmg calculations ) but you can always use attack magatamas. Early on I depended a lot on the Fierce lunacy magatama (+500 attack, -20%hp). Also at 78 dex, you probably haven't maxed affinity without magatamas, right? So more dex will free up some space for other magatamas

i reached 3000 bow affinity at 133 dex + 20 pow, so probably 133~134 pure dex(not sure how much pow boost affinity). Without any +%affinity equips.
which my base dex is 100, i reached it at level 73 with amaterasu full affection level (echigo main quest finished)

(sorry the stats in pic isn't very accurate x.x. it's currently at lv75 with extra 50 stat point on wis and mnd)

I think I've gotten a few in Gouriki's (hideout?) but you can stack up a lot by grinding echigo estate

As for bow/twin swords, do you still suggest a Cautious type for the extra sp? Or a Daring type will be superior due to the twin swords usage? I can't wait to see your bow/twin swords guide. I like those two weapons.

It depends, as at the moment Cautious is sufficient for max affinity for both weapons and hence superior, but upon upgrading from the Cypher and Golden Eye, Affinity will likely become an issue, hence Daring may prove useful after Kusatsu until Edo is released.

At my current level I feel that the extra SP is a bonus; I'm adding Wis for the crit at the moment while maintaining a large amount of Mnd due to thinking I would use staves offensively this content cap, but decided against it as I felt that it wouldn't be as impressive without a rank VIII Holy Light. Personally I don't find Pow and Vit very impressive in terms of the stats they give, since the HP I have from Magatama is sufficient to tank a few hits for my Chian to kick in.

what magatama your using ?

currently using 3 fuji mags which is +15 dex
and Lupin title which is +6 dex
