I mean in terms of area, mostly, and execution speed after that. Is WDS still best?

To chase a question previously asked about Steal Attack:

1) Is it indeed broken? (it feels as though it is)
2) If it is broken, does it mean it reduces the chance of drops, ergo, I should just kill mobs normally for certain farmed items?

If you prefer speedy/ speed execution, you will want to get Sword/Twin Sword or Bows Ougi, such as Dark Water Cannon, Lightning Demon Blast or whatever it is.

Spears Ougi are a bit slow, but covers widest area of all, around the caster. Just triple cast WDS VII, WDS VI, and Ice Blossom VI/VII usually all the mobs will have been dead.

The skill is Thunder Beast. Water Cannon is ridiculously slow and Peacock is far better. In any case, Thunder Beast with more than 100% CD Reduction is especially amazing for clearing weak enemies and covering ground, even better when combined with True Spirit Blast to cancel the delay after casting.

The odachi with the highest level requirement that is currently obtainable is the Monster Wolf Tachi, level 80 through Lv18+ Yoshitsune.

As far as I know, no. No skin tone color. But you can change your hair color and eye color in Beauty Shop for some 10,000 ryous if I'm not mistaken.
