You can't use any liquor inside and all your stats don't matter since you only do 10 damage and everything kills you in one hit.

If you use liquor outside of the haunted house and go in with it, the effect will disappear.

You can use rapid storm though outside of the haunted house and go in with the effect still on.

In the game it's treated as a staff.
