Twin Swords, how to play?

Postby Coco » 12 Sep 2014, 10:02

Hi, I am a newbie, and has been playing the game for 2 weeks. From the begining, I want to use twin sword as the main weapon but I end up using bow all the way to Sekigahara. I can't use twin sword anymore because a single hit or two from a normal youkai can even kill me. I put all stats mostly on DEX and MIND and I have HP 968 at level 28.

I start feeling bored playing bow and would like to come back to twin sword. What is an effective way to solo with twin sword? Thank you.

I think the reason u are dieing with bow is because u dont effective know how to dodge all the current youkais and if u do u prob dont use backstep.Btw twins are more of a burst class that somewhat reply on ougis unless ofc u can dodge all the youkai atks

Thank you for a kind suggestion, Onee san. But I usually don't die using bow but twin swords (^^).

My current strategy when using a twin sword is to attack 1 or 2 hits then immediately dash to the side, repeatedly. I usually get countered should I do the third hit or use a skill rather than the Twin Blade Slash. Although there are loopholes sometime where I can go all out for a while after the youkais did their heavy moves, I found this method awkward and very risky with some youkais such as Handamashii Musha. Above all, I have no hope against a boss at all because of its wide-range attack.

Let's share how do you do when playing with twin swords. :D
