Crashing in Kikaigahara.

Yep, that area just plain hates me. When I first crashed there, I was lvl 4 and was in the middle of the clearing, heading towards the Rest Area, for the evacuation quest. I crashed, and was unable to get back in, as it kept crashing.

I couldn't do anything else, so I deleted my character, and remade him, and got back to where I was. I turned all the graphics down to the lowest setting, turned off shadows and effects, and faced the wall furthest to the right when making my way to the portal. This seemed to work, as I didn't crash, so I assumed that my computer couldn't handle the large area.

After completing the evac quest, I accepted the merchant quest, and left the rest area. I made my way to the forest, and made sure to keep the camera away from the majority of the area. However I crashed shortly afterwards, having ran only a few paces away from the gate to the rest area.

It's not my computer, sadly. If it was, I could easily remedy the issue by buying a better computer, but mine is already very fast, and Onigiri works very well on it.

That's about all I can give regarding this bug. It happens in the Kikaigahara area, nowhere else for me.

to all player have same problem (kikaigahara and oosumi bug ) please post in this thread.. maybe CS can see it and fix it

OK, I installed Onigiri on a better computer than my own for a test run, and ran to Kikaigahara on a second character I had made after losing my first one to the area crash.

Sure enough, I crashed on that one as well, and that one was able to easily handle Onigiri with everything turned to the max without any issues.

Will the Dev team PLEASE try to fix this, or at least move the crashed players from Kikaigahara? I've lost two characters to that area already, and I'm REALLY not up to deleting them just to play the game again.

Yeah, I don't know if this bug affects everyone or just a few people, a certain software/hardware/etc., but what's really strange is that both crashing areas have Morizou (a tall green mob, now replaced with Kikuzou) and for some reason I didn't see them from the distance (even set it to 100) so maybe they're the root of all evil?
Other than that, some kind of "Character Unstuck" button in the account menu could be quite useful as some games have it.

A Character Unstuck button would be a God send.

soo.. is the "black hole" still wanderin in kikaigahara and oosumi after update? my char still stuck there zzz...

yup if u get sucked at that "black hole" just say goodbye to ur char..
