I usually spend most of my time in either Seki or Nether Seki just hunting bosses now. If I find one, I will usually send out a message so anyone in the general area can jump in.
Though I've been hearing a lot of higher level players have been acting like faggots and not opening parties or helping out because "they get nothing out of it." I may not be the highest level player, but I'm 85 and I'll assist and help find bosses with anyone. If I run into one of you douche bags, I promise to try my best to steal your kill. Either that or we'll both get stuff cause on a side note, you actually don't need to be in a party for multiple people to get boss drops. I was too busy killing a boss one time that I forgot to party up with my friend, yet we both got drops, including magatamas and 1mil boxes. I still throw up a party anyways though.

Well, I agree and disagree with you.

Agree because I also dilike faggots and not opening parties/helping out and kill steal.I prefer to be nice though. But I will see at endgame later what KIND of community will this kind of game mechanic will produce?
I prefer calm and peaceful community.
-----------------------------------------
Disagree because no matter how dislike or contempt you are. You can always be sniped kill. Because the game mechanic is JUST LIKE THAT YOU GET DROPS from LAST HIT of MONSTER.
-----------------------------------------
Remember even if you're lv.85, there'RE lots of player with higher level than you, with better weapons and skills.
------------------------------------------
And remember, there are lots of AFK Party. Not everyone can just leave AFK Party for some Boss Monster. If in the way I see a boss, why not try to kill it?
And NOT everyone is as nice as you.
-----------------------------------------
I dislike faggots and also dislike some hypocrites who act as guardian angel and act nice even though they can be more evil than those faggots.
Anyway,
My conclusion :
Everyone has his/her perspective and competitive side. :D

So let everyone become him/herself. Let fate decides which will survive.

Actually I'm not nice, yet I had 3 people call me nice in one day (this usually never happens! >_<) because I threw up a party them helped them. So if that's all it took to be called nice, wtf are other people doing to be jerks? Remember there's always polite ways about saying something. As I said I'm not nice, but I won't be rude to just anyone either..
But as I mentioned sniping may not be the case with boss hunting since people not in the same party can receive drops. I know this contradicts with the regular mechanics. I dealt majority of the damage since my friend was support and the last dozen or so shots, and we both got drops when I wasn't in her party. I will test this again later today to see if I can find out how these boss drops work with parties.

Last hit applies to exp only. The drops applies to anyone that hits the boss, party or no party.

The reason for not partying is because of the exp. 2 men and 5 men party won't make any difference on the boss attributes, unlike in dungeon. Its just making killing easier with more people. Therefore for those who're hunting for exp, they definitely wouldn't want to party up, not because of the drops, but for the exp. Partying means splitting up the exp, and how much exp you get is based on how much damage you contribute in the party.

As for the drops.. you don't need to be in a party to get the drops.. just hit it and you'll get the drops eventually. Just a reminder that you won't get any drop if the boss is out of your sight when it dies. So stay near until the battle ends.

I couldn't find many bosses in nether or parties, let alone at the same time.
But this is what I found.
Like KonaKona said, anyone who hits will get drops. Also mentioned, exp is applied to the person or party who get the last hit.

Also, I do believe that the amount of exp you receive, will be affected by how much damage you do to an extent. I joined a party when the boss had 1/3 health remaining, and on another occasion I joined a party when the boss had 2/3 health remaining. Both occasions I received the same amount of reduced exp. Does not matter on the exact amount of damage dealt. Possible a range of damage will give you a certain % of exp.

***BUT when I attacked the boss from the start, and someone joined me after I had already begun attacking, I still received full exp, even in a party. This happened on multiple occasions. (confirmed today, but only realized now that I've been getting full exp while partied with my gf hunting bosses the past couple days)

Therefore:
-drops for everyone
-allowing someone to join to share the wealth, does not mean you will give up exp.

Edit: Going along with Tillika's main idea, all I'm trying to add is, it's pretty much win-win type of situation. People should just help each other out when possible. If can, can. If no can, no can. No one needs to be a dick about it.

Confirming what Taakun has stated.

I've received reduced experience every time I've joined a party already in the process of killing a boss. Every time someone has joined me I've received full experience regardless of whether I'm doing most(if not all) of the damage or a much smaller amount. In every case, party or not, I've gotten drops for participating.

There isn't much of a reason to exclude anyone from your kill unless they're a jerk who contributes nothing and still attempts to snipe the last hit. Sadly this practice is more common than I'd expect.

im not going to lie those nether DEATHSCYTHS give massive exp. 1 of the lowers said he went from, 32 to 36 almost 37. now thats some good exp give. the thing about seki and nether bosses. you need to trap it and maybe a good idea to have some1 with alot of skill force. at the moment my puruneko has a skill force of over 150 i think thats not too bad ill still help bosses if i see players fighting them so make sure to have a party up before you battle huns have a good day or night.

Does anyone know when and how often these bosses spawn in any of the areas?
