I use energy ball over first aid since taking my own energy ball does not take off durability, and it's good for endurance runs. I've considered writing some tips for solo players, but no one really looks at the section of the forum.... Anyway, I noticed that when I took the energy ball while I still had my staff out, I gained something like 560HP. Pretty sad. But after I use energy ball, and take out my primary weapons, twin swords (don't know if that bit matters), and take the energy ball, I get a little over 1K hp. Why is that?

Lingering effects such as Energy Ball and Sanctuary seem to heal based off the character's currently equipped weapon instead of the weapon equipped when the skill was cast. Invigorate is exempt as it applies a buff to the target, while Damage / Healing over time (e.g. Energy Ball, Venom Arrow) deal a fixed amount of damage each tick that seems unaffected by attack.

How do you get good skills on your weapons?
I was farming SF for a full day and the best skill i got on my amanohiboko was WDS III, it was even the one at highest rank, how can i obtain better skills on the weapons?

EDIT: Do you recomend extracting a skill just after leveling it to max lvl? I mean you have a really usefull skill that you know you will be using a lot (WDS 4 for example), it will be worth to extract it?

The only option to get level VII skills would be from Nyankoropon (need Onigiri Coins), buying from other players (need Onigiri Coins),or very very rarely identifying with Shizuka 'might' nets you some weapon skill lv.VI.

I got two wands with level VI Call of Lightning, but that is after identifying around 1000 weapons. If you're lucky, you can one even with only one identify xD.

I tried a few times, with 5 man party, and 3 man party, and alone, but I don't meet this 'Seko'.

I'm guessing you don't really want to farm weps much :P
First I'd suggest checking if any of the skills are evolveable or close to being evolveable. If so, evolve them.
Then.. extract the wds IV and stick it on hoping for double wds.
And finally, smelt evo (and I hope the other skill isn't rank I)

For IV skills, you only need 25 lvls (http://onigiri.cyberstep.com/_/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3483), I suspect this is xp based (High lvl skills will lose less lvls and the lvls lost will not be rounded to that lvl, haven't done any specific testing), so expect 400-600 uses before maxing it again depending on your momo lvl ;~;

-Well, tbh, at this point in the game I pretty much ignore IV skills so I only work on them if I want to extract them. Try to evo all your skills to V, every time. This will mean that all the skills you use on most of your weapons will also have decent skill lvls.


TLDR: Yes, If you've maxed it it's probably on a much worse min lvl wep (assuming this is the reason you're asking about extracting)

Gather distance increases your item pickup distance (useful for farming challenges :P)
