Cannot give Shizuka gifts anymore?

Can someone explain me about this? Which quest do I need to complete and where do I get it?

You need to progress the story quests to be able to level your partners further. They are the yellow quests.

You mean main quests? I'm currently at Kyoto and I don't automatically get quests anymore but I need to click on the NPCs that shows their head on the map. Which kind of quest do I need to finish or how many quests?

The yellow quests are what progresses the storyline, blue quests are sides. Dont know why u arent getting any storyquests, are u sure you have completed them properly and have been reading the story and not just skipping all the dialogues? you probably have missed something.

You can see it by hovering the "+<3" button with the mouse cursor, the name of the quest needed will show up.

When I arrived Kyoto I got no quests without clicking on npc like I did got in other towns. I told that to someone and asked what to do and he said I must go to npc with a head on the map and that are the main quests. At the moment I'm busy with leveling up by doing byakkou dungeon and enlarging the amount of inventory. I don't think there's something wrong? You mean I must go and clear story/main quests first so ill have that thing unlocked?

The last quest I completed is head to Kyoto and I completed it. Now I'm leveling up but where can I get that shizuka quest? That thing I need to complete in order to give her gifts again.

Well, seems like i didnt even scroll your picture since you were asking what quest you need

You get "The nue and Lady Shizuka" at the very beginning of Kyoto. Just talk to everyone at the entrance, and when all your partners scatters around the town searching for clues you can get this quest near the Ankan Forest (near the bottom when you open the map).
