am a wand user and i did ohko bosses on yakumo hell at lvl 44-ish back then w/ icebolt VII + one rank 7 skillforce mag + a lv 40 +30 wand xcept for ahriman, that black orb of a thing is too tanky till i got to 50... though sp consumption is indeed a bish for what our spells are worth... rank VII icebolt has a whoopin 344 initial sp cost w/o the wis reduction and that is too much (v > .<)

and bout focus, you can use other weapons focus buff to deal crits w/ your wand spells or any other weapon skills.. been usin it since my lvl40 days to farm yakumo..

Can you prove it? Doesn't the buff need the minimum affinity for the said weapon? For example I have both the Way of the XXX and Fierce God Focus, skill lv.5, then you will need POWER/VITALITY/DEXTERITY at least 50.
And it won't do for Kind build type character.(only upping WIS/MND). You will do fine if the others VIT/WIS , DEX/WIS. I'll try it later. As far as I know the buff only last for a sec for the non-affinity weapon confirmed.

But my point still stands since Wands don't have the buff originally (kind of native damage-buffing wands), and won't the buff just go away if you change your weapon?
Dealing with Ahriman is another thing though since it has a really high magic defense.

I don't believe you can OHKO boss yakumo hell at lv.44...even with all your Icebolt VII, at least you will need twice the work. The Tiamat/Dragon is another thing, it's easy even at my lv.42.., though.
Even the pure VIT and pure POW build will have difficulties OHKO bosses at yakumo hell at lv.44, not to say wand.. :(

Tried Fierce God Focus on my wand and it is mostly becomes critical. Only works on 'single' targeted spells. Fixed Grounded AOE spells , I haven't made it successful (I tried Ice Glaive for example). The only one that I tried works : Dark Pillar, Ice Shot, Flamestrike, Electric Shot, Kamaitachi (first few hits).

Apparently, the game mechanics in this game is truly a mess, but also funny. With the buff from other weapons, I can make the same effect   , without POW stats, but it only last for a few seconds.

Fierce god is only supposed to work on the first hit. That is - if you hit multiple mobs, it will only work on one of them, and if your skill ticks multiple times, it will only work on the first.
Selling all of my gear for ~40% of its market value!
~4 lv. 108 to 115 weapons remaining
Some skill card 7's, ougi, orna'd maga and other stuff too!

Yes. +50, +60 Greatbows with rank 3+ Lightning Flash Shot clears Gedoumaru pretty easily. Do it on hard if you can't do it on hell.

Well after taking a few months away from this game I've finally decided to pick it back up with my level 70ish pure support healer (I don't actually know exactly what level I was its taking forever for the game to update) and I would like to find out what the best place to grind is. Unlike the alpha where leveling was super fast and the beta where choices were limited, there are now many options and seeing as I've devoted myself to an exclusively support play style my ability to solo dungeons to find out for myself is pretty much none existent or at least very inefficient. I also have no idea what kind of stats, weapons, and play styles are good or popular right now so any info on that would be much appreciated. (For example I have no idea if people even want pure support people anymore, when I stopped most people didn't seem to care about anything but my rapid storms.) I would like to stick with my current play style and stat build strategies because they served me very well until I quit but I'd still like to hear what e=other people consider to be good especially for other classes.

As a side note if anyone from like the very beginning of the official release or beta or even alpha test remembers me, Ozzy, I would love to talk to ya sometime~

IGN: Ozzy (I'm pure support, like really I don't even owe anything but staves so help leveling would be a god send thanks~)

The idea of pure support players should have died in Secluded Forest (Kaga). As for being level 70, you should probably find people to clear Secluded until 75-80 or so then Hermit Crab Grotto with until you're level 90-95. If you're impatient skip to Hermit.
