I'm enjoying Edo a lot, but... it's huge! Places to sell/browse items are now split between the first Edo town map (I guess? The bazaar scene there is still kinda empty/all over the place) and Echigo, which is a pain to run all the way back to even after you finish the story and open all the gates. I guess this will get better as more people trickle into higher areas, but the annoyance of the bazaar system is really sinking in since this update. The content of Edo is nice, but the layout of the town is just bad compared to something like Kaga with a central area and branches to dungeons coming off of it.

Some of the bosses definitely have too much health. It's not that they're unmanageable, it just takes.. a very long time. The toudaiki boss and lightning wanyuudo come to mind especially. And like Annie said, with any reason to carry people gone, they should give lower levels a boost to exp, similar to the way you get a 100% exp boost as a new character now.

100% boost is only up to 15 lvl if im not wrong >_> also bosses health finally comes to be a challange. :ugeek:

10 levels is a huge jump man.
First dungeon was like: "oh hey, level 80+! I can do this!"
And then the next was: "oh level 90+. Okay... Imma try this"
And then the next (which was sewer management): "LEVEL 100 WHAT THE FU- nevermind back to grotto for weeks"

Good one! You shot it perfectly Oppai and I'm still laugh from it
I was thinking about that on same category but...
This 80 dungeon is great imma say even easy.
This 90 dungeon required teamwork.
Also Managament Sewers: Ginza can be done even in 2 ppl party 80~90 Lv. This room have glitch. (I shot boss on 1h from GE+10 w/ExorcistArrow
about Hibiya which is for 105 Lv~~ Normal Mode ~~ in 2 ppl party we clear it in 1h with bosses. (81 and 86 lv) without (+100 weapons) :)

So I'd like to said. There is nothing hard to do. Game system learn newcommers to be lazy and "Beg, Leech, Lick, Cry" to higher levels about "Clear everything" and there we have an effects. Most people which had some basic knowledge (or had the luck to get party) passed Edo dungeons. Rest.. *oh god* "[...] nevermind back to grotto for weeks"

This game finally showing and giving "challanges" not the boring "whole grind weap/lvl".

After a while, I do have a complaint that I've thought of.

Why is it that there's no good spots to farm ryou in the new content? I feel like bamboo thicket and yakumo are still the most efficient, which implies that our best ryou farm spot is like 3 content caps ago.

I would expect that the newer dungeons give more ryou than they do, especially considering the ID costs.

It'd be nice to be able to farm Ryou faster but I don't really see it as a necessity. Yakumo is already a one minute dungeon and gives something around 215k per run if you're soloing Hell with four Kanmons and have a premium boost. A five player party nearly doubles that amount. Being generous and averaging it to two minutes per run(to account for loading time and repairs) you're looking at a minimum of 6-12m Ryou per hour depending on party size.

If you're burning through money so quickly that grinding at that rate feels insufficient then you've probably got some first world problems of having way too many smelting reset buttons/amulets and artisan's treasure swords.

If you think about it another way, 1 run of yakumo full pt hell, 4 kanmon (300k iirc with login) is enough to id one wep.

Smelting and id'ing are both more expensive and you can't really sell id'd weapons to profit anymore. I haven't really been testing dungeons for ryou, though so can't really say yet how it compares to old dungeons.

If you attempt to get 105 reds, you'll know exactly where I'm coming from - the IDs along with the drop rate make it so that you have to spend a tonne of ryou, while each dungeon won't really give you enough - especially with the high repair costs due to dungeon length.

Until now, farming Yakumo or bamboo thicket or even grotto would always at least allow you to sustain yourself, but now you need to farm like 2 hours of ryou to make up for one hour of weapon farming.

The time that you have to spend on farming ryou feels like its completely wasted because you have to back track as opposed to farming a dungeon that was unlocked at the same content cap as the current dungeon set, where as, in previous content caps, you could at least get exp from from a half decent spot. Though - the most efficient spot was and is still basically yakumo.

Well, it could always be that I overlooked a super efficient ryou grind spot in the current cap.
