I've been looking for this for over a week now, spent 3 days in preserved, a few days in other neither seki dungeons, and a few days in regular seki. After hundreds of I.D.s I want to pull my hair out...

I've seen other posts and the wiki for its location but maybe someone knows something better. Is there a spot that I should focus on farming this item? Right now I'm all over the place going nuts

Try Nether Singlesword forest gold id's. It's still a 4.71% chance but slightly better than the 4.44% chances of the other locations...
Get an afk pt if you can and go in hell mode and you should be able to get enough golds for good chances in a few runs.
