Sudden level up? O.o

Is this a part of the christmas event...? or something else I missed? XD I logged into my level 65 (who was level 65 at the start screen) and he did a sudden "level up" (with the fancy noises and flashes of light from god) and he's now level 72...I'm not complaining...I'm just wondering since I dont see anything mentioned on the front page XD
