How can I ups grade? I've been smelting a weapon and enhancing it but it seems its grade doesn't go up(except if I smelt and grade+6)

Any other way than that(besides the powder one).

A weapon's grade is static unless they've been exposed to the conditions that you have already mentioned above.

That is - a weapons grade will only increase from
- Applying the option during smelting
- Use of a grade up powder

Cuz u were carried from onigashima to echigo and never bothered with any side quests?
But yea if you lvled yoshitsune enough back at onigashima she should have given u a quest about making an oninodashi weapon

I've got kind of a silly question. I just logged on for the first time in a few months and picked up the New Years quests telling me to collect letters from youkai. Now are these letters dropped from any youkai or specific youkai? Because I tested the waters in some of the fields and wound up with nothing.
