No your dmg won't increase at all from the extra affinity % until ur affinity cap raises

My Sword, Odachi, and Axe affinity are all 3k, and I'm lvl 84. I know that my affinity will raise again at lvl 100, but my question is, until then, is it pointless to get the Date Masamune title?

Will the 60+% bonus affinity still affect my strength, despite my affinity being at its current max?

Use one of the 12839123890128309 status resets obtained from the current event and reset so that you have 3k WITH title.

Invest in other stats in the mean time. Reset again at 100 if you forgot and didn't save enough status points. This will maximize your character's strength in the short term without any long term harm.
