It's to prevent people from making the same thread over and over again. The Q&A thread makes sure that everything of this sort stays organized and contained. There's nothing wrong with having multiple of the same questions repeated in one thread because that's what the thread is for. But if we have like 10 threads about "How do I evolve skills with momotarou" within the next 3 pages, it gets absurdly obnoxious and people stop answering the question because it's probably been answered a million times already. Plus, the search function is there for a reason. If the question isn't in the search function, then there's nothing wrong with asking it because it hasn't been brought up yet.

you know whats really annoying? some one wont answer a question ..now THATS annoying, and no matter HOW many times someone ask's...you need to answer so do not be rude and crude about it.

If someone won't answer it for you, either test it yourself, look it up on the wiki, or find someone in game who's willing to help instead of relying on the forums for it. Making the multiple threads about the same question is probably more annoying than what you said. It's like double-posting except on an entirely different level.

The people who can answer your questions aren't always here. I do check the forums several times a day, but being busy is still a thing.

Patience is a virtue. There are approximately 4 people who answer questions regularly in the Q&A thread since nearly everyone simple asks and doesn't answer. Personally, I don't answer questions in the forums at all unless I'm involved. If you ask a question on the proper page on the Onigiri wiki, you'll probably get an answer from me within 3 or so hours unless I am asleep.

Also, the number of people who uses the forums for Onigiri is quite low, so you really should NOT be expecting an answer within an hour.

than why in blue hell is there a General Discussion forum? I mean cmon it's for players to ASK questions makes NO sense ..the Q & A post isn't the "Official" Q & A, players has the right to ASK question's on this forum, who made you boss of this forum? care to show your badge?

I had played many many many mmo's and they all had a separate section for General Discussion AND Q & A, you can make all the threads you want but the fact still remains that players has the right to ask..don't like it? suck it up and be more mature

If theres already a thread made for Q&A why would you not ask your question there it makes no sense to make an entire new thread for 1 question when you can just ask it there only someone with mental deficiency would create a new post. But that's just my opinion.

Reading this thread gave me a headache. If you can't understand why there's a Q&A thread, then you're doing something wrong. Not ALL forums have a Q&A sub-forum. Why? Because that's how things are, suck it up and quit complaining. If you want a Q&A sub-forum for Onigiri, try suggesting one in the Feedback and Suggestions thread on the Announcements sub-forum.

You ask for logic, but don't use it yourself. Kind of ironic.
