Can't open the game, but it is shown in Task Manager>Process

Postby Feix » 20 May 2015, 08:30

When I try to open the game up it is not opening at all, but when I open task manager I can see it in the processes, I opened it this morning worked perfectly fine, but I went to play dota 2 so I closed it, but when I try to open it again this happens, please help!! Btw I have the dota 2 custom game mod installed if that affect this at all?

Edit: So after I waited a bit, something popped out saying Luncher Update failed or something like that, and then I click close, then it just closed, so I try to open it again same thing happened, it doesn't show up but it's in the Processes...

Try to uninstall and reinstall Onigiri again. Perhaps one of the files was corrupted.
US Onigiri Character:
    Yosh!tsune Lvl 115 Swords
Myuu Tachibana Lvl 32 Twin Swords
JP Onigiri Character: Tachibana Miyako Lvl 52 Bow
Further preparing for next content~

Blame steam.

Launcher update failed implies that the launcher can't connect to the internet. Try checking your firewall settings.

This has happened to me before, and the only solution I got to work was to do a full factory reset on my computer. I don't know if it will work for you and its a pain to reinstall everything but its worth a try.

Hello Feix, have you found a solution to the issue?
If not, I hope this helps:
-Uninstall the game
-Delete the files remaining after uninstalling the application
-Reinstall the game
