There's something I wanted to ask about, since I'm not down with the latest slang or abbreviatons: what do "tl;dr" and "weaboo" mean? I keep seeing those and I just can't quite figure it out.

Weaboo : http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Weeaboo

tl;dr: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=tl%3Bdr

There you go.

Well, this is awkward, because I would consider myself a "Weaboo". Then again I live in a festering shit hole surrounded by racists, so even North Korea or IS territory seems more appealing. Even so, I love the Japanese language, and culture, and I tend to buy a lot of stuff from there, things that I can't find in Hell's anus.

What I mean by the term 'Weeaboo' is the rift community; the people who sit around roleplaying and showing off their broken attempts at the Japanese language. We all know how kawaii kawaii desu desu that is, right? That said, it's more or less a waste of the game itself, and would be put to better use if they went and inhabited gaiaonline or something of the sort. (I have nothing against people who respect the Japanese culture; anime; etc.)

Rift no nahkah no people like to koh shee teh shaaaaaberew and it gives my atamar cancer nya.

That was just an example. It gets much, much worse than that... There was a guy who attached "nya" at the end of EVERY SINGLE THING HE SAID, a male character named "Onee Chan", and I still remember seeing over 30 different variations of the name "Kirito", often with some random string of numbers attached at the end on the first day alone. I still remember some kid trying to teach another kid Japanese... Except the first kid didn't even have any grammar sense.

Then once you get past this, there's also the 12 year olds cybering with internet predators in random houses in Onigashima, as well as the 99999999999 people who have attempted to use some sort of Japanese name... only to have it riddled with misspellings and/or grammatical errors.

It's not really the fact that people are attempting to mix Japanese with English... it's just that they're doing it so horribly that it makes my eyes bleed.

Rift cancer.

I remember being in a cg where all one girl would talk about was how she was a kitty (she had the slutty cat costume) and much like the guy you mentioned, she attached nya~ to the end of every sentence. "I'm such a kawaii kitten nya~" "I bet I'm the only one with the white kitty costume nya~"

I've had the Jay(insert rndm numbers) kid come up to my alt and attempt to 'grope' her. Too many horny 12 year olds.

It's the people who attempt to take it several steps farther than 'liking anime'.

Meet weeaboos.

15/100 (can't rate 69, cry, but seriously 69 is way too generous to give)

-way too many glitches
-pay to win (always good to see)
-d/c way too much -> shitty connections
-over the top RNG
-98% of Nyakoropon is trash
-slow translations
-mistakes in translations
-slow updates
-way too many updtae failures
-stupid and unnecessarily long cutscenes (glitches included!)
-low levels that bother high level to carry (not including the supports)
-low levels that skip all the work of making weapons by just buying them
-high levels that that skip all the work of making weapons by just buying them
-low levels that don't understand game mechanics
-high levels that don't understand game mechanics
-weaaboo AKA the stupid people: I'm Chinese and I study Japanese, and every time I hear someone attempt to say some language that they don't know and completely butchering it, that's just disrespecting the culture. Seriously stop. Ever heard of the Chinese hero Cao Cao? Well fuck you it's pronounced Tsao Tsao. Also just for all the stupid people, the "r" in Japanese is pronounced like "l", have you ever heard anyone say "Sa-Yo-Na-Ra" in Japanese anime? No, it's fucking "Sa-Yo-Na-La". I also bet 99% of the people that spam "Desu" don't even know what "Desu" really mean. And for the people that ends with "Nya" in their sentences, stop, you're not a fucking cat, and if you want to be a cat, go kill yourself and hope you're a cat next life. If your argument is "well I don't know how to pronounce them because they don't follow the English rules", well I can say the same thing about English's pronunciation with five thousand possible a vowel and silent letters that pretty much make English has no rules as well, but I'm not here disrespecting English cause I learn the fucking language and the fucking culture. Seriously, try to learn and understand the culture before you disrespect it.

All in all, the mechanics and what the game has to offer is below average to average, but what really kills the game is the community.

In the "tokyo dialect", as everyone not from tokyo calls it, it's actually closer to "ra" than "la", because you still have to roll your tongue. The sound doesn't come out right if you actually say "la" straight up, hence why they have it as "ra" instead of "la" in the first place. English doesn't actually have anything to represent the sound ... Roumaji just doesn't work very well, period.

1/100

Too many things wrong with it. Most people already have said allot about it so no point in repeating it.
