Why not us

It's stupid to attach skills to weapons you know.
We should remove all skills from weapons and attach them to our action bars.
We should also make weapons the same in terms of mage, range and melee. That's it, no need for difference between swords, odachis, and twin swords etc, or staffs and wands etc.
The only part of the weapon that should matter is its level.
It makes the game simpler, more entertaining to play and smoother in regards to combat.

That, and most people will just pick the ridiculously high powered skill and use them on axes and the like with high attack stats, and that would be boring.

Well this game doesn't exactly have the option to take a certain class that will only unlock skills for that class, not to mention the ability to hold any type of weapon at will.
