Returning-ish New player-ish... ish-ish :D

Ok so let me explain. o3o I played before for a little bit, but I only got as high as lvl15. So yea...... That still counts me as a new player right? XD Honestly I don't even remember anything about the game other than I had fun with it, and decided to give it a go again.

So based off what I remember, and avoiding spreading myself too thin. I was wondering which would be the best weapons? Looking around I've seen people say Odachi, Spears, and Bows, but I've also noticed that wands are the only weapons that have support on them. Also what would the best character type be, like if I did decide to use those 3?

Wands don't have support skills --- Staffs do. As for which the 'best' weapon is, I would personally say axe or wand. They definitely do the strongest damage, though axe is considered 'hard' to carry with. Bow and wand have dura hax, which aren't necessary with the new dura cap, but are useful as far as 'saving ryou' goes. As for sword and ts, they're relatively easy to use, definitely not as easy as bow, but much more simple than axe/spear/oodachi. Of course you should pick a weapon based on what you're interested in.

I meant Staff...... <.< >.> Yeap I'm sticking to that. Well I like hitting as hard as possible, but I also like being able to attack quick. Also I don't really know anyone that actually plays this game, so having to take that into account I'll have to solo stuff most likely......

Post-buff wand makes axe players look like kids swinging mops around.

No one's mentioned it yet, so I might as well:

Wands are generally a bad idea early on because of its SP usage, so it might be better to switch to it after you get the free stat reset if you're ever planning to.

Well right now I'm kinda leaning towards the Odachi, mostly because I think Neo Excalibur looks awesome. *o* Along with a lot of the other long swords. Though I must admit I do like how some of the spears look as well.
