Why doesn't this ever happen with weapons I actually use?

Everyone gathers in the park (Hariken Park I think it's called)

Kurama Teahouse is probably more popular from what I've seen since that's where the partners move later in the story.

Ah sorry, I meant that's where the partners gather. Haven't gotten around to taking on Kurama yet so they've not moved. If I can record this damn Nurikabe fight, I can get to Kurama today in theory.



Was supposed to post this yesterday but I forgot. Finally got a decent set of Koryuukagemitsu for Warlock Warlord (found it at grade 63). Also tweaked his attire a little.

Managed to record the fight eventually. It was a lot easier than I was expecting. Recorded a fight against a Yagyou-san as well, but there were others involved in that fight. I got the kill and the loot though, so that's something. Also ran Yakumo and Yellow Dragon Spire on Hard, recording those too. Will be editing, rendering and uploading on Sunday, unless I find the time to do so before then (highly unlikely). Here is a snapshot from the Yagyo fight:



That finishing move was Ougi Verdant Storm V, which may just be one of the most badass skills I've seen so far.

Tore up Byakkou a few times to get a good enough one of these. Was grade 45 when found, now grade 60. It's the most powerful weapon I have for now, but I'll be off to Izumo soon so it'll become obsolete soon enough. That being said, being a pure POW pure sword build *does* seem to be working out well. I'm finding Hell dungeons a lot easier than I used to. Midori found them easy too, but she was overlevelled so... Well, Izumo should be pretty easy as well then as long as the trend continues.

You will notice the huge gap in power once you start using 4 skill force magatamas for that one weapon type such as amara magatamas rank 6+ skill force 50% for sword rather than trying run different ones for each weapon.

Yeah, that'll be a pretty good boost to me as well, specialised Skill Force. At the moment I've only got a couple Rank 2+ mags, but I know there's better ones coming soon.

In other news, I'm currently uploading my first Onigiri capture to Youtube, but apparently it's going to be another 7 hours and 10 minutes yet, so watch this space. I'll post a link once it's finished. I'll put my second one up on Thursday, probably, since I work the rest of the week.

Okay, just realised I rendered way too high def than I needed to, hence the insane upload time. Working on re-rendering at a lower res which (hopefully) will slash the upload time considerably. 7 1/2 hours for an 8 minute clip? Should not be that long. I'll update again once I have something more on that.

Don't say it. This was another really tough decision for me, but after seeing Magic Maelstrom barely scrape through Oonaobi Normal... just no. Forgetting getting to the Stat point reset in Kyoto, he wouldn't even make it past Yomotsuhirasaka. Well, not this side of 2016 anyway. So, Albion. Pure DEX, pure Bow. I know now that specialising is a highly effective strategy. Spirit Sabre absolutely shredded Room of Rites yesterday. I've never cleared that on Hell so quickly, at such a low level, and without even dying. Didn't even get to half health. Two Thunderbeasts, one Crimson Sword, one dead Ahriman. The rest of my original characters will (hopefully) be fine. Virtual Demon's going to be leaving Kyoto soon, Loli_Yangire will be entering it soon. Warlock Warlord and Midori Tsukino are both on the verge of reaching Izumo, and should clear that easily. I'd said I was worried about Magic Maelstrom. I thought I could save him. That was before I got him to Izumo. He couldn't handle it. If Normal difficulty was that hard, then Hard and Hell would be way out of his reach.
