Regarding skill re-balance, I think some of the old Ougis(from set 1 and 3) should have been rebalanced as well, I know they shouldn't be requiring such a thing in the first place due to their good dpm and skill force, but let me take some examples:

- I asked some people around, and it seems Aerial Blitz/Aerial Blast is a very unpopular ougi ingame since how people say "it sucks" or "not worth it". Being a medium range mortar with no armor whatsoever(this ougi's animation), and iirc even the AOE circle of this ougi is small. I believe to bring a sort of variety in ougi usage & to make this popular again, this could use a rebalance (Restriction has been buffed already I believe, cuz my skillforce on Restriction V in its current level is showing 870 something.....)

- Similarly, Tidal Wave and Water cannon lose pretty much a lot of power in Edo. Afaik they were very good to use before Edo, as per the weapon guides as well they a lot of their good dpm against Edo mobs. Even they could some some sorta rebalance to make them popular amongst the community again, including the variety factor( too much Thunder Beast and Amaya's Rape these days).

I know it's a wall of text & a lot of you guys won't support this, but any positive or negative feedback is welcome and I'm all ears for it.

The people still using thunderbeast are those that can't afford to switch to TSB, still grinding primarily in pipes, or don't realize TSB got buffed and is viable and better for the time being.

I don't play bow, but I think that unless amaya is weakened to the point that it's impractical, people would probably still use it because of it's usability. Unless the animations themselves are changed (and aoe's) then I don't think this would change-unless the other ougi get significant skill force improvements, but given that it's already a ranged weapon, I don't think this would happen.

Is this with clean magatama (given that most people had slice/crit) and cross or assuming a holy build?

TSB is better even if you have slice scaling (TSB is impact whereas TB has 30% slice) and only gets better as you get more holy. So yes, it would be better, but only in Oushuu. Even with CROSS, you would take TSB over TB.
TB will maybe see more viability after 105 magas and lightning gargoyle comes out when it might have the chance to shine again if it can kill mobs in a single bolt. But in the mean time TSB is overall safer and does faster damage again, only in Oushuu.

I would prefer TSB on a Doujikiri Sanemori - Severance if you has 2x holy, 1x sword affinity on a mag, and a 60% sword affinity title.

I guess I'll try it, then. There's always extraction cards anyway and Oushuu will probably be the latest content for a while.

Oh, that makes sense. I didn't recall it changing at any point from 605.

Somehow, the idea of farming RoR for 1 year for the TS equivalent doesn't seem very appealing. I'm guessing this is currently only practical for swords (and maybe a few others) because of bargains.

Your TS Severance weapon is crap, but get it anyway. Might find some use for it.
