How to put multiple rank 7 skills on a weapon?

I'm having trouble putting rank 7 skills on a single weapon,every time I try to do so it replaces the current rank 7 skill which is on my weapon. I've tried it 4 times but every time it replaces my current rank 7 skill.
Any suggestions on how to get all rank 7 skills?

No other way other than trying until you get it.

The only other way to get all Rank VII would be to evolve them. I can understand the desire to get nothing but VII's, just make sure you have the SF mags to back them up though and make the most of them. Rank VII skills devour SP like there's no tomorrow, so SF mags will help to ensure you always one-shot the target.

Evolution only goes up to VI unless they increased it last maintenance. I haven't quite gotten to the end of the content yet, but I suspect that the main quests end just before the friendship caps increase.

Momo's level is capped at 24 right now, so his 'Evolution Essentials' are at 6. Meaning that skills can only be evolved up to rank 6.

And new content ends before any of the partners level. The quest needed for their leveling being: 'An errand at the charcoal store.'

Really didn't need three people telling me the same thing in varying degrees of detail, I got the picture from the first response. Still, good to know. I'd feel like an ass trying to boost a skill that's capped, not realising that it's capped. Hopefully the relevant quests will come out soon so the cap can be raised.
