Game issue

From what little I can gather from the crash logs, the game is trying to access data from something not yet implemented in NA (Or was and is now broken). Since your client is trying to read data that isn't being sent, the game is encountering a fatal error and crashing (broken pipe). Do you crash upon entering the room? I believe that the game is trying to load the a cutscene (Which was either corrupted by the recent patch or non-existant in the first place) as soon as you enter but failing and so you crash (Although it really could be anything since "__sendEvent caused an exception." seems to be the cause... "Event" isn't very descriptive)..

Same issue here, crashing with a log file while trying to enter. Guess we're stuck now.. cannot access the next map, also can't grind anymore :c

i crash after i talk with momijina2 to enter room, i crash on the loading screen it doesn't load and after like 20 secs or more i get a "time out" message then it crashes the time out message u can see it if ur quick with ur eyes cuz it crashes so fast u dont realy have time to notice that message

I'm receiving the same issue, submitted ticket 2 days ago and received email confirmation of it...so hopefully sometime soonish X

Yep, like the game would like to continue playing it. Decided to give it a few days because I didn't first run into the bug until Saturday, but it is now past the maintenance so a little rant I can handle a bit of a wait. I have hit a wall basically though with most of the exp grinds spots i have can get too being stuck in Kyoto halving at 91. RIP grinding for the time being.

Dude, I'm in Kyoto as level 70 and everyone's telling me I'm way overlevelled. Which I know I am. At 91, you should be around Echigo I think, or near there anyway. I should be in Kaga by now but... issues with my brain. It's going to be a long time before you can get friendship items to level up your friends, and that's going to hurt pretty soon if not already. The only sources for those items you'll have right now is Field Bosses, Lucky Boxes, and Nyankoropon. My advice would be to come back each day to check if the bug persists, and if it does: play something else. Speaking as someone who has also overlevelled, I can safely say continuing to level up is not the best idea. It might not be a catastrophically bad idea, but it will make things more difficult due to being unable to level partners.

Yeah I know I am way over leveled but it was very easy up to that point. I did it with just daily bonus and either a 50% or 100% exp scrolls for 3 days, but I was stuck and didn't really want to make another character at the time because maybe it would get fixed during the maintenance today. I have made a new character and I do when I feel like it hunt area bosses, but that stuff can be farmed in the later areas with a better drop rate I have read. I like to grind so i don't mind being behind in that stuff.

The thing is this bug halts progression if it was anything else it wouldn't be so important but the fact that anyone new or anyone that wants to make an alt has to stop. I like the game enough that this wont stop me from playing right away but it could in the long run end it for me, but like i said being an ex-FFXI player I am very patient.

I don't wish to be rude, but seriously, do the Devs ever communicate with the forum staff?

This IS A GAME BREAKING BUG! And it should have been fixed days ago.

If there is any forum moderator who can expedite this bug fix, please do so. It should be a top priority.

Seriously, I have ONE character, and it's just sitting next to momijima 2 just waiting to finish this quest so I can continue to play. I have no desire to level up my character until I can at least continue with the game. I have no desire to start a new character, knowing that there is a wall that I'll hit with this bug still in place.

The Repair Benkei quest should be renamed "repair benkei quest" quest. And the developers who code the game need to prioritize this or lose their customer base who are affected.

CS does not actively check nor moderate the forums. (I think only Takoyaki checks and he seems to check only once a day or every few days.) Send tickets. Lots of tickets.
