I read this before but it didn't really register. Did anyone say afk pt?

Level cap = 125

and they raised the level cap?

I was sure that 120 would be the cap since I'd seen certain weapons and their mats...

Anyway, hope they implement the Party Board sometime soon.

Btw, do you know if the affinity cap was increased?

Affinity cap is most likely increased. The patch is in its "preview" stage atm. I don't think it was actually implemented yet.

The level cap was already 120.

Since it counts as a system upgrade, the party board should be here in a week or two. (It requires little to no translation; I could do it in <1 minute.)

Np, its like a super quick task, so I don't really mind at all. Besides, this was pretty much a C tier translation anyways, I didn't really bother actually giving a shit about diction, nor did I bother keeping CS's style.

Hey guys, it's that time of week again.

Actually, I'm late on this since I was kinda uh.. doing midterms n shit.

Now, there's two parts of this, one of which only partially pertains to Onigiri.

First of all, there was a bunch of bug fixes. At first - alot of people, myself included, thought that Lv. 121+ players don't get stat points anymore, but apparently you still do, it was just a bug.

That's the only important one.

Now... for the real thing.

Pvp is coming...kinda

It's a completely separate game, by the name of 鬼斬 百鬼夜行. Now, there's alot of ways to translate this... the previous English teaser site called it "Onigiri Pandemonium."

To some extent, that is an acceptable translation... if you want to look at it from a very specific figurative sense. But I personally would call it Onigiri - March of a hundred demons." I'll abbreviate it as MHD from here onwards.

The game is an online, action game that is actually SEPARATE from Onigiri, that uses Onigiri's characters.

You can do air dashes, rolls and combo people n shit like that. As of now, there's two modes, one where you collaborate with other players to defeta powerful youkai, and another where you go 5v5 on the rift - er, split into teams of five and try to fight over crystals n shit. Everyone loves their crystal ;D

They're having a campaign where players playing Onigiri will benefit off of playing MHD.

Apparently MHD's combo system uses some sort of strange weapon switching shit to cancel animations, and you can even do it in midair.

You can also perform animation cancels by jumping, and then air comboing whatever you're targetting.

Just-guard is going to be implemented too.

I also have no idea why they didn't just revamp and add features to the base game of Onigiri instead of making a new one altogether - BUT OKAY.

Nope, they literally announced it yesterday.

I think it was in the works for quiiiiiiiiite some time though, as the combat system is different from what it used to be, apparently anyways.

I also recall... a certain GM saying we'd be getting PvP in a month about 10 months ago.
