This player, Sachiko Aya, forced my hand to make this post here:

After getting fed up with the gargoyle dungeons where I finally got the levels for a normal/hard party, and that there were finally parties that were hosted for these dungeons, I realized I spent too much on the game and that the resurrection skills required to enter said dungeons were a rip off and that they were in fact coming back this year. (I purchased three resurrection skills, one of which on an iwaotoshi without any enhancement) for 300 oc each, thinking parties only accept players with these skills and that they were discontinued. Turns out they were in fact coming back. That was not the only scenario and had suffered a plenty both because of the new dungeons and the losses I made by attempting to flip items like back when I played runescape.

But the new dungeons were the final straw for me and I actually said in party "Is account trading against the rules? And does anyone buy or sell accounts on this game?" Seeing a few comment on the fact that some players do want to sell and quit, I thought selling an account is legit in this game and no where do I see in the rules that selling an account is strictly prohibited, and if there is a line saying thus, I must have missed the point due to my desperation and utter depression over the fact that help came too late for me when running the dungeons and that by the time I managed to solo gargoyle on normal, I'm already in the negative and at a loss to know if my account will be banned regardless of money, time and effort wasted on it, for asking a simple question "Is account trading allowed?"

What made me ask this is when players admitted they do not know if account trading is allowed, and also said some people are interested in selling an account. However, in the middle of the discussion, Sachiko Aya crashed in on our party that was intended for the ice gargoyle and refused to say if its against the rules or not. Also, she went so far as to say she will refuse to say whether or not she will report any of us for mentioning account trading, knowing it was only a question as to its legitimacy and not an act that I will recklessly carry out.

Henceforth, I have decided to ask this question here.

Please refrain from insulting me and just answer. I'm in a state of extreme depression and was not in my right mind when glancing over the rules when I found out I've been ripped off and laughed at by other players before my friends came back online to help me out.

I've now got quite a bit of support, party runs and advice from players such as kyoka, ryxa and rhythm too, albeit after I bought the skill cards etc for gargoyle dungeon and after I'm now at a loss not knowing what I asked was against the rules.

And finally, whether my outburst would result in a ban from the game if account trading is indeed against the rules. Not knowing an answer to this really torments me to the extent I can no longer continue playing this game, having lost the enthusiasm and all. In fact the only thing that prevented me from just ditching my account is the excessive time and money spent building my account.

C$ has never stated that we would be getting resurrection cards again, nor have they implied it...Anything related to the return of the resurrection skill is merely a rumor; if C$ wanted to give us this skill, they would've allowed us to ID it, like on the JP server.

Selling accounts is against the ToS. Or else I would've try and spin myself a profit 8D.

C$ is pretty well known for ignoring tickets all the time anyways. Don't sweat yourself... Unless you've actually carried out the transaction.

Note that many other individuals that are still not banned at this point in time have attempted to sell their accounts in the past. Ex. K*ku.

Masturbate. This helps with depression. I'm being serious.

Maybe for mild/moderate depression, but not for clinical depression or worse. I'm speaking as someone recovering from being suicidally depressed. Waxing the carrot made absolutely no difference. Neither did antidepressants. For depression I'd advise counselling and confiding in the closest friend you have. However, you should take my advice with a pinch of salt, because I'm using the term "recovering" quite loosely here. Most of what I've done to get out of that hell is classified as Escapism. Counselling and confiding helped but I haven't really tackled the heart of the matter. I'm not really ready to either, so I'll continue to duck and weave until I have the time/energy/emotional stamina to do it (once I leave my shitty job and stop living in the worst part of Britain. That'll probably help out in of itself). But, that's all I want to say on that subject.

I'm not really surprised that selling accounts is prohibited here. A skilled player could get a powerful character without buying any OC, and then sell that character to a noob/someone with more money than sense. In other words, the player would make money while C$ would not. I don't see them letting that slide. I know there used to be Runescape players who would do this, and they could do it so well that they could live on the money they raised selling accounts, so that they didn't have to get a job anywhere. Don't know if players like that still play Runescape or anything. Probably not.

@Ryxa: Thanks for the link. So it just turns out that I have crappy luck. Sounds about right for me. Nice, high grade bow, but no borders on the skills. Just my luck. I'll have to just keep my eyes out for good Skill Cards then. I've carded it with two Rank VII skills, but I'd like to have a poison skill as well in case I decide to hunt Goldarumas. I think one of my characters has had a Poison Rapid Arrow IV card at one point. Something like that would do me.

Just a warning. Poison arrow might start getting less effective at around that level (not too sure). Poison cloud (on wands) soon becomes the only viable way of killing Goldarumas.
