Can't really answer how the game is doing..

Ahaha xD, well i will be fine to know if the commu is still decently active though. And seems like Venus and Siegfried are actually free from story, from what i read on wiki (?). There are a lot of contents in after i stopped it seems so i am kinda eager to go again.

There's a decent amount of active players I guess. Most people are either grinding the Christmas dungeons or grinding exp at Oushuu from what I've seen. A lot of old players have quit but there's also been a lot of new players who have joined the PC version since the PS4 and Xbox versions were released.

Console version is several updates behind, and lags a lot worse than PC, so they come to us to get the better experience.

Divine posession as in Siegfried and Venus? Yes, most likely we get them along with Lucifer in the Dark Sanctuary
