Uhhh....... Friendship items are easy to get, i have literally 999 of each friendship item and it didn't take me long to do that either. They literally drop everywhere, even in event dungeons like christmas one. So idk what your doing wrong but you need to farm more.

I know I sound like an idiot and a broken record with my complaints about my friendship item problems, but I would seriously like to know your secrets. I don't know how to describe it other than: "They just don't drop for me". They BARELY drop...barely is an understatement. Even when the enemies I am facing are above my level, they still don't drop. They barely dropped in the event dungeons too...

So honestly, I don't know what I'm doing wrong either. What level are you? You probably got that from just doing dungeons without needing the items anymore...

I can get 90 friendship items per run on Youen Hard if I use 300% item boost, but I hear that Hermit Crab Grotto is even better for them. Are you running dungeons solo or in a party? You get more in a party after all. Another suggestion would be to find a dungeon that has decent drop rates, then run it to just before the boss before quitting the dungeon. You can still get the items you need that way without levelling up so quickly. That way you can get a couple dozen useful runs out of a dungeon rather than just a few.

Even if you are above level 50? Supposedly if enemies are 10 levels below you, they do not drop at all.

I have had friendship items drop in a dungeons 12 levels below me, while in a full party. Very rare and not when I'm alone though, which makes think there may be other factors at work here.

Not necessarily. As previously mentioned by Helix, you can still get them even while soloing (and drop item boost). The chances are higher if the monsters you kill are above or at par with yourself. It is one of the reasons some players 'underlevel'. One thing you can probably do, if you're a casual player like me, is to log in at certain periods of the day, buy friendship items from Mikoru's bargains,and log off. The timings are quite consistent once you know what is being sold when. It's a slow process if you're trying to power through though.

Youen Hard is a Level 70 dungeon, so yeah. I'll probably farm there again on Sunday, once I have a 300% drop boost.

Grotto 5 man is also very good. I can 'feed' sasuske stuff, get ryou and waste ryou on repairs.
Its also a good place to get friendship items as Helix mentioned, assuminf you're under level 90 (give or take).

Being in a full pt also (usually) raises the youkai level significantly so I would guess that you were within 10 levels.
