Firstly, I'd suggest picking a single weapon (and to base all your magatama on that weapon). Exceptions would be a wand for Goldaruma hunting (poison cloud)(...I'm not too sure if PS4 has those) and maybe a staff for rapid storm/support skills etc.

For magatama, I'd suggest affinity mags until you cap affinity at 3000 and then skill force magatama (a title would help with this too). Since you picked pow, there should be a number of these that you can get through subquests, whatever weapon you choose. Elemental mags aren't too helpful, except maybe for early game. Elements are better added as ornaments, imo.

I'm not sure about the enhancements on your weapons, but, at the very least, they should be +50 and hopefully have a decent grade (using +6 grade on smelting helps). They should also be the highest level you can manage to get.

Nothing much else I can think of at the moment... high ranking skills I guess?
