So, I saw the new update, and was curious if there was some sort of alternate mission for Himiko, to obtain her Vanguard Swap card, like Gennai and Izuna. Anyone know if there is a way?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Partners are just a added bonus/ gamble. Rank 5+ skills are just as strong as partners and their skills. You don't need swappable partners to be good at the game.

True dat. The only reason I bothered with Izuna is because she's Izuna. Loli Miko fox girl is a must have for me. You don't *need* vanguard partners. You don't *need* to spend any money at all really, it just makes things easier. Having all the best items/partners doesn't make you a good player. It makes you a cash pinata that C$ will continue to whack open as often as possible. Clearing the game with only the basic weapons and partners, now that *does* make you a good player. Means you're better than the premium players who couldn't grind their way to the top and had to be carried/throw money at the game to get there.

Just in case you aren't aware, there's also this thing for free spendable oc coins which quite a lot of people rely on. Some of them are a bit dodgy but vids and perhaps some surveys are ok.

Partners require a lot of luck/oc, though, so you wouldn't be getting any any time soon. I'd predict that you'd need 2k oc for a good chance of getting a fully awakened partner. I think that I'd heard that the chance was something between 1 and 3% for a card in one roll.
