Can't Craft, Can't Smelt

On my lvl 52 char, I didnt got the Smithing quest from yoshitsune, not even the oninodachi crafting quest. Yoshitsune friendship is already on lvl 8, and my main quests are on kyoto already. I can't keep going with this char if I can't smelt and craft. I already tried to smith some weapons, didn't work. I repaired a lot of weapons, also didn't work, and everytime i go speak with yoshitsune, she dont give any quest to me.
I also contacted the support, they didnt answer.

This only happens if you sell/discard the Oninodachi recipe. To fix this: clear Kishinden and speak with Chief Daruma. He'll give you Oninodachi recipe again. Take that to Yoshitsune and smith the sword. That'll unlock Smithing.

Based upon your screenshots, I see you're using the Oni's Dagger. Quick question: have you enhanced any other weapon to +10? Because that's how Smelting is unlocked. I'd also recommend not using the Oni's Dagger since pretty much every weapon is better than it. Okay, so the infinite durability is kinda cool, but you'll find progress a lot easier if you actually use a weapon that packs a punch. Just a suggestion.

If what I've told you to do doesn't unlock Smelting and Smithing, contact CS again and tell them that as well. Most likely, they didn't answer because they get a lot of tickets like that from rookie gamers. Having to answer the same question 1000's of times gets really annoying.

Thanks a lot, thas was the solution, I probably deleted or sold the oninodachi recipe. About the sword, i am using this one because of Spirit blast, but i am also using the blue moon sword, but thanks for the info

There are better Ougis available than Spirit Blast. Way better. Blue Moon Blade is... well it's just that it's a rookie's best friend. It's really easy to use, requires no skill whatsoever. Just spam POW and that's it. It'll get you as far as Echigo I believe, but from there you'll need a better weapon.
