Dear fellow players and CyberStep-Team,
As some of you might already know I decided to take a break from Onigiri for several reasons. I know that most of you probably won't care about that (which is totally okay) but I decided to leave some feedback for our favorite company. The reason why I post my thoughts on the game here in the forum is because first of all if I wrote this message as a pm to CS I would probably get a standard reply à la "Thanks for you feedback, we will take it into consideration..." and nothing will happen (it is almost always like that). Furthermore I want other players to give feedback as well. I am pretty sure that I am not the only one who thinks that there are certain things within the game which are clearly wrong. In other words, feel free to add your own feedback down below and/or your thoughts on what I am going to write here. Please notice that some of those lines might sound a bit harsh, but my goal is not to make fun of CS, I will try to give constructive criticism which helps to improve the game and let CS know that there are certain things wrong within the game. Without further ado, let's start:
1) Drop/Reward/Spin - Rate
A total joke. Everything that is based on luck in this game is hardly achievable if you are not 24/7 online or if you are not a millionaire.
An example - Lucifer:
The given drop rate by CS of Fallen Cross is 2%, so in other words, or at least from a mathematical point of view, you should get 2 Fallen Cross every 100 runs.
I did almost 250 (245, but lets round up) runs and got 1 Fallen Cross so far. That means my rate is at 0,4% which is nowhere near 2%. If I got at least 2 Fallen Cross I would say okay, the drop rate is still just half of what it should be, but whatever, I will live with it. But my rate is not even 1/4 of the given rate, are you kidding me? Moreover I was on a 200-300% boost in most of my runs, but I skipped that so things here don't get too complicated.
This is just one of many many examples, I could do the same for all moon rewards, Lunar Spirit Seal and so on. But hey, you know what? That is not even the worst thing because those are mats that you can achieve through farming a lot. Sooner or later you will get them and you don't rly need any oc for that. The worst thing is the Spin-Rate at Nyanporo and the reason why I decided to take a break. Here is what happened:
First of all the Mega-Nyan is total pointless, it is just a showoff and is hardly useable anyway.
But the thing that cracked me up is the rate on the partners. The newest line offers, as you all know, Valkyrie and Musashi. I really wanted Musashi and when the update was finished I decided to get her no matter what. I spinned over 6000oc (probably even more, I stopped counting otherwise I would get seizures) and got 1 Musashi. Yes, you read that right, 6000oc for 1 Musashi...
How the hell am I or anyone else supposed to get a fully awakened Musashi. Do you (CS) expect us players to spin for 30.000oc (= 3000USD!!!) for 1 fully enhanced partner? You can't be serious if you really think players won't go on a rampage after experiencing such a crap. It is literally impossible for 99,99% of all players to get a fully enhanced partner with your given rates.
I understand that you are a company and that you need money which is totally acceptable. I wouldn't even mind to pay monthly (under certain circumstances, not in the game's current state) but honestly with such actions you just scare players away and I know that I am not the only one who experienced that. There are tons of players just like me. And please don't tell me that the rate was always like that. The first partners like Musashi, Sasuke, Luna were actually quite easy to get. With 3-4k oc you already had a good chance to get a fully awakened one. Now that so many people want partners the rate of getting one has dropped by a lot.
2) Hackers
Why the hell are hackers still around? There are so obvious hackers (easily detectable through the "time attack" feature in every dungeon) and yet those people are still around, destroying the game for everyone that wants to play fair. At this point I am not talking about the guys who sniff through source code and try different unreleased dungeons to get information for the wiki. Although any kind of hack is not acceptable for me, there is a big difference between those two groups. So, why are those hackers who profit from hacking are still here?
Please notice that the following paragraph is just an assumption by me and I have no proof of it but it makes sense. I think that hackers are actually quite helpful for CS. Why? Simple, those hackers are a rather small group that is easily controllable (if the amount of hackers is too high CS can simply ban a few). In other words there are just a few people in this game who can get rare mats (like Fallen Cross) quite easily although the given rates (as I wrote in the first point) are way too bad. Those hackers want oc so they sell their rare mat for a lot of oc. If you checked the bazaars in the last weeks/months you probably saw that Fallen Cross got sold for 500oc a lot of times. But 500oc for 1 mat (which is at least needed 4 times) is insanely high which means that top level players start charging to be able to buy those mats which results in what? Correct, profit for CS!
Question to CS: If my theory is wrong, why are there still hackers around? Please give me a valuable reason because I can't think of any. And that it is possible to clear Lucifer Hell in 1-2 minutes is just total nonsense, at least not with our current gear (probably not possible with any gear).
3)Unnecessary changes
On a lot of updates I just can't think of anything else but: Hey, CS changed something just to have something changed, although it wasn't necessary at all to do that. An example: They removed the Venus/Siegfried Training Dungeon. Why the hell do you do that? That dungeon was good for skill leveling but nothing more. We couldn't get any unfair advantage in that dungeon. There was no need to do that. Instead you should have added more dungeons for all other partners.
4) Lack of important changes
What CS does too much on unnecessary changes is missing at important changes. There are so many bugs in this game that I could submit a ticket every week with a new serious bug. But that is not my job, CS has enough GMs who should do that or if they don't have enough, they should search for more. We are all humans and errors occur but not being able to fix the "BFB-Bug" for weeks now is just wow.
Note - BFB Bug:
The skill Blue Fang Blade can't be leveled properly. A lot of the time it just doesn't take any durability from the weapon if you hit a mob which doesn't go 1-hit (like Boss Daruma in Shield Mode) which obviously makes leveling this skill very hard (yes I was close enough to the mob and no I did not switch weapon/roll/block or use another skill right after the cast of BFB)
Multiple Magatama Dissolution
Totally missing that. When I am done with farming moon after day I have so many mags I want to dissolve but I hardly do because doing that one by one takes forever, I literally take a day off from playing ever two weeks only to dissolve mags for a whole day. Programming such a function can't take more than 10 minutes, for real.
Taxes
The taxes at bazaars are way too high. For spinning Nyankoro just one time (5x rolls, nobody uses single rolls anyway) I would need to sell an item for 208oc. That is just insane, you are taking almost 1/3 of the selling price. I am not saying that taxes should be removed, but they have to be decreased no matter what.
Restrictions
Please just remove all those restrictions that keep us from selling certain ougis (like lances, etc.) as they are unncessary and totally pointless. Also it would be nice if we could sell clothes.
Final words
I want to point out again that I am not an enemy of CS. I supported them since day 1 when the game was released and I wrote that feedback to improve the game (which is not fun anymore at all) and to make CS aware that there are tons of players with similar or the same opinion like me and let me tell you one final thing: Nobody in this game will be patient with you guys forever. You are literally on the best way to destroy your own game, think about it...
Katsu out~
Edit: @CS, take it as a chance to communicate with your players and actually listen to what they have to say. As you can see there is a lot of feedback already and I am sure it will get more over time. I (and probably all the other players) too would like to hear your (GM's) opinions on this whole topic. Nobody is perfect and nobody expects you (as a company) to be that but this game has so so much more potential and it would be a real waste to not develop it to the fullest. Let's make Onigiri great again!
