what is the warding and why should i do it?

hey everyone ive been playing onigiri for maybe a year now and still dont understand everything. (seeing they dont explain it like forums and wiki do), i have 7 characters now all level 50+ with weapons that suck cause i have difficulty crafting. I finally decided to check out the Warding hosted by Chifuri Materialized in onigashima and notice there is so much more to do but i have no clue how to beat certain things or why i should spend all my revives doing so if someone can send me a link explaining fully the point of warding how to actually win how it benefits and what i need as far as soloing (mainly because its impossible to get a party in the year ive been playing) cause i would like to enjoy everything this game haves to offer before i quit. thanks!

Warding has three main uses: Golden wep hunt does exactly that, it gives you weps in that level range of what difficulty you choose.

The dailies are used to get materials like the stones and aidama, they give a whole lot if you do hard+

The rest are used to get high level weapons with the most popular being the lvl 115 gargoyle weapons which will help you greatly in the late game.

Youen is great for getting weapons, but if your Shizuka is low level, then those weapons will suck grade-wise. Also, Youen Hell weapons are 222k each to ID, so I hope you've got a lot of ryou. But, they're worth it. Running Youen has helped me get some pretty powerful weapons and helped me thrash through. Doubt I would have cleared Kaga so easily with just Seki area weapons.

Daily Searches are best for stones (necessary in ornamenting and crafting several weapons) and Aidama, which I sell to Point Daruma since they're worth 15 points each, and you can get a lot of them really easily.

Assault Aragami Magma is supposedly good for magatama drops, but I got raped by lag and destroyed by monsters, got nothing of any value at all from it. Maybe when I finish building my new PC I'll try again. FPS lag is the bane of my existence.

Dragon Arks... I've only fought Sabisame (the easiest one) so I can't say for certain, but I believe you can get special weapons from beating the tougher Arks.

Gargoyles... again I've only beaten the easiest one (Crag Gargoyle) but Inferno, Levinlance and Sleetsword all drop weapon recipes. I want the Sleetsword weapons, especially the twin swords.

These are the only ones I've tried (barring Hail Tiamat which killed me about 18 times on Normal all for nothing) so I don't know what else is worthwhile.

other than the golden weapon hunt or daily warding, i don't think you need to do the other at that level.. just focus more on one of your character...

actually if you got a proper build and magatama.. you won't even need to do the golden weapon hunt

well i kinda disagree now thanks to the help i received from this topic. it was almost impossible to do any thing with my wand user until i did aragami magma and youen so yeah thanks for the advice though
