Since Ree2fly did say list some pros and cons, I will gladly share them. I would like to mention that I will be comparing the game to what it was when I first started out playing (since beta)
Let's be positive! Going to start off with the pros first.
New Content : This is arguably the best thing that CS has done. When the game first started out it took months and months for a single update to come out. Now it's every Tuesday so there's always something new... Except for the ones where its only "Bug fixes, that is all. Enjoy exploring the world of Onigiri."
Lots and lots of fixes : According to a couple sources I've talked to on FB, Cheat Engine has now been rendered (mostly) useless, a couple loopholes have been fixed and some haven't (not naming any) and a lot of bugs have been patched. Which is great as you can no longer use Cheat Engine to swap an accessory that doesn't expire with MR.CHECK (basically god mode lol) or swap out a skill with, for example, WEDGE BLADE (what I call as Lazy Man's instant-kill skill).
Log In Calender : Free stuff! But the JP Onigiri has a double log in calender last time I checked, where's ours?
Skill Rebalancing (this is also going into the cons) : Skills from rank V-VII have been revamped and mandatory for damage. Skills level I - IV are untouched and remain useless. This doesn't really affect experienced players since they usually have triple skills ranked V, V, VII on their high level weapons. But we got a free compensation package so I'm not complaining.
Useful Stats! : P. Defense and M. Defense aren't useless anymore! They actually reduce damage taken, M. Defense is debatable though.
Warding Dungeons : They basically gave us something to do aside from main story although some are just useless (Stone Gargoyle, Nightshare Nyarth, Dragon Ark Sabisame and a couple others). The Daily Search wardings have been amazing though as we can now have easy access to stones used for weapon smithing and magatama ornamants... But why not one that gives piercing stones? With the recent summer update, the wardings are 70% easier as bosses such as Gargoyles take a long time to turn around and you can easily skill spam and kill.
Time Rankings : Basically bragging rights for certain people (Bape).
Now for cons! Trust me, there still are a lot.
Drop Rates : They are still horrible.Very horrible. Horrible to where CS REFUSES to show us the actual drop rate! Here is an example:

That is the item Fallen Cross from Lucifer and we all know that the drop rate is not 100. Fun fact: most items have a droprate of 100 (according to the config).
Skill Rebalancing (or buff, whatever you want to call it) : The cause of death for the Vangaurd swappable partners (minus Regular/ Dark Musashi and Gennai. Yay for flying robots). Farewell, Sarutobe Sasuke. No more Ougi Triple Blade bowling.
EXP : Do we really need approximately 10.5 BILLION to get from level 124-125? (it's actually 10,408,293,663 exp but close enough). Can we at least get a dungeon that gives more exp than Mine of Boukyaku 5 man hell with 300% exp boost?
Nyankoropon : Despite this game being free-to-play, it is slowly becoming pay-to-win as level 150 full awaken Miyamoto Musashi destroys everything in its path. Giving that we'll be getting a mount (ifrit) who is statistically weaker but just as viable as Musashi anyone who has these two (you can use them both at the same time) can just breeze through this game. Did I mention that every partner is now worthless compared to level 150 Musashi? Also, what about these rates in the Nyankoropon? Some people can toss away 5,000 OC (either bought from CS or the black market, yes there is one) and get as much as 1 or even 2 platinum line ups. Some dont get any at all. From the people I talked to who do have fully awakened partners (myself included) it takes around 2,000-4000 OC per at roll (Katsumi verified).
Youkai Partners : What exactly is the point of having these guys....?
RNG: The three letters that define this game. Period.
Energy in Non-Warding Dungeon : There is only one so far but why do we need to use energy to fight Mephisto in order to make the Dark weapons? It's already time consuming enough to make these but adding energy to a factor just turns people (except for certain people) away.
HP for Bosses : As CS pushes out more storyline, bosses on hell difficulty have more and even more HP than actually needed. Abyss Gargyole (Hell) solo has 1,020,000,000 HP. Overkill. That takes around 103 WEDGE BLADE hits (each hit does cap damage which is 9,999,999). Raw stats:

Most of that stuff was unneeded but I thought I'd put that in so for credibility.
Inconsistency : First there are weapon buffs. Then there is the element stacking nerf, which nuked the damage of wands mind you, then there's the summer buff which made wands just as strong again. Make up your mind, CS.
Unnecessary Nerfs, removal, etc : Why was the Venus and Siegfried Experience dungeons removed? They were amazing for skill leveling (it is possible to kill those huge darumas by the way). At least give us similiar dungeons for Asura and Valkrye. Was the Chiami nerf too harsh? I will be honest, it was very overpowered, giving you the chance to fully heal from a collapsing blade VII. Its still very useful for multi-hit attacks like water dragon spear. But it does more emulate a healing crystal/ item in other games. The Ressurection nerf from a while ago I also found a bit uncalled for. I'd rather have it take 200 dura per ressu than just 10 per person on hell difficulty. Also, what about the Chidori liqour? Without the +30 cool down cut it takes longer to skill level and also makes it harder to chain skills (except for wands and their fireballs). Chiami and Chidori aren't as bad as it seems, it just takes time adjusting.
Useless Nakayoshi Partners : These guys have no worth battle wise. Sure I get that they cater to your necessities in an MMO (Yoshi = blacksmith, Miroku = shop, etc.) but other than that they are just not used in battle unless it's for vanguard swap or a meat shield. Sure they shouldn't be overpowered to where they can kill everything in their path but at least make them do some sort of dent in the late-game mobs. They're just as useful as Shiki from The World Ends With You (amazing DS game. Would recommend. Go google it.)
I cant think of any other pros and cons at the moment but when I do, I'll update this. In the meantime, I'll be on Soul Worker, find me! My IGN is ♪カーオス マフィン♪
