Returning back since '14 - '15, whats happening?

Ahhh the CBT days then official release powering through till Kyoto Arc and waiting for next areas.

What's been happening so far here?
Seems really quiet and barely see much intereaction in-game ;\ , or maybe its just me out of place after returning some years later.

Someone mind a quick fill in events of what occured here or if theres anyone left at all in-game playing?

I see Achievements, Partner Special, Mount and Assist and a few more areas opened up.
Onigashima seems to have been re-vamped with a new layout and area.
Do recall a newsletter saying that the monsters been scaled down to be easier, surprisingly got through Nakasendo without much trouble compared to before lol.

To sum it up, more like is there any point returning? /forever alone

EDIT: 1. The lvl cap now is 130.
2. There have been more limited time events including the currently running Setsubun events.

Guess I lost my Hattori Hanzo title by now, just remembered they get taken off after a month inactive.
Ah well, hopefully see you in game .

You aren't out of place, a lot of people did quit. There are new players, but the population overall has gone down a lot.

Also we have a new warding dungeon that makes leveling easy, which is great since grinding was a nightmare. Unfortunately it's also resulted in a lot of new players becoming underpowered high levels.

• Crafting Magatama and weapons has been made easier, with less requirements needed.
• New EXP Ticket Warding Dungeon added, so grinding is now obsolete.
• New Skill Card Warding Dungeon added, so just run that a couple dozen times to get the skill you want.
• Enemies now have Types that react to each other, like the weapon triangle in Fire Emblem;

- Beast is strong against Monster
- Monster is strong against Specter
- Specter is strong against Beast
- Soul is neither strong nor weak to any element, meaning its damage is a constant.
