I understand that, since the bosses looks badass in there monster form.
Turning them into assist is more or less like turning them to a mascot.

She is better than Gargoyle with her last 3 ATK buffs being the same as Gargoyle/Parvus, except being 40%/40%/60%. Also, her event includes free permanent partner accessories. You can get 2 chibis with 10% ATK.

Late edit: Actually, her ATK buffs reduce the player's DEF to compensate for the extra power.

They make their appearance in the Onigiri anime too, and btw Mephisto and Dragon Ark also got turned to girls.
