I dont really like sports anime either but that bicycle one this season (Yowamushi pedal) is pretty good. Even if you don't like a particular genre there are usually some pretty good ones in that genre worth watching regardless.

I don't really watch anime. I read manga, because I can read at my own pace. (Which is kind of fast)

Sorry about the long list...

D. Gray-man
Pandora Hearts
Bleach
Gintama
World Embryo
Shindere Shoujo to Kodoku Na Shinigami (This one probably isn't going to continue due to health problems)
The World God Only Knows
Ao no Exorcist
Kuroshitsuji
Fairy Tail
Rave Master
xxxHoLiC
xxxHoLiC Rei
FullMetal Alchemist
InuYasha
Bakuman
Hayate the Combat Butler
Rurouni Kenshin
Nisekoi
Magi
Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Nurarihyon no Mago
Shokugeki no Soma (Makes cooking very dramatic)
Denpa Kyoushi
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei
Kikou Shoujo to Kizutsukanai
Last Game
Soul Catcher(S) (Don't know why there's a random S in there)
Hataraku Maousama
Itsuwaribito Utsuho
Aphorism
Love So LIfe
Horimiya
Natsume Yuujinchou
Gakuen Babysitters
Kurenai Ouji
One Punch-Man
Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assassination Classroom)
Mahou Sensei Negima!
UQ Holder (Mahou Sensei Negima Sequel)
To Aru Majutsu no Index
To Aru Kagaku no Railgun

Area no Kishi is a pretty good sports manga. I don't know if it has an anime though.

Area no Kishi does have an anime, watched and loved it. It also ends during an arc so if you watch it be prepared for it to be unfinished.

As much as I want to take part in this topic. It's far too much work to look up/remember all the animes I have ever enjoyed. but my favorite ones from this summer season are
No Game No Life
Black Bullet
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei
Seikoku no Dragonar
Yowamushi Pedal
Hitsugi no Chaika
and Fairy Tail (2014)

and of all time is One Piece

oh i loved Guilty Crown the ending reminded me of Gurren Lagann tho.. so sad. Shingeki no kyojin rules as does code geass. Darker than Black was great i wished season 2 was as good though.
