Would they ever make vanguard youkai? i think its an awesome an cool idea other than have then as assist partners they are kinda useless

What exactly do you mean? We have Mounts like which are similar to what ur describing.
IGN is Probably: Noning Paradox (previously Shisui Hyuga) (other names may also be: Meruem Vermillion), but I've quit the game long ago so idk exactly anymore.

Yeah, mounts are youkai type characters, and in any case your question should be directed to the developers or programmers
