Anyone here knows what the Autumn Mapple Aegis skill does exactly?
I've used it a couple of times, but nothing really happens.
Some says its a wind buff though.

It grants 1 player with protection from 1 hit.

Is that the one that comes with the costume unlock? I wasn't sure if it was worth exchanging 2x 2500ea, so went for tickets instead...

It does not come with costume unlock.

Does anyone know if pure hex copper drops rates are the same for all difficulties?

If anyone's curious, here is some info regarding Kenshin & Gawain's buff skills with the new outfits coming next week. I don't know any coding languages nor do I know Japanese but I'm confident in my conjectures.

Firstly, I'm talking about these skills, currently already added as of 2/5 maintenance and partially translated:


Seems like there will be weaker versions of Gawain & Kenshin in the gold tier of the new Nyankoropon, similar to Autumn Lancelot. At the Yorozu Exchange, you can trade one summoning scroll of their "weaker" variant for an outfit change that applies to the original Kenshin or Gawain. And, obviously, that outfit unlocks the skills displayed in the screenshot above.

*Buffs can stack up through multiple uses of this skill, however using it too much will cause debuffs to be cast on you."

Kenshin's buff works exactly like Oda's buff. It has a long cooldown and a 15 second duration, and each consecutive use before the buff ends will increase the effects of the buff in addition to resetting its duration. So you need multiple weapons to get to higher tier buffs. Additionally, using it too many times will result in a ludicrous debuff instead.

Use 1:
Attack +10%
P.Atk Spd +10
Movement Speed +10
Cooldown Cut +5

Use 2:
Attack +15%
P.Atk Spd +15
Movement Speed +15
Cooldown Cut +10

Use 3:
Attack +20%
P.Atk Spd +20
Movement Speed +20
Cooldown Cut +15

Use 4:
Attack -100%
P.Atk Spd -50
Movement Speed -50
Cooldown Cut -50
Crit -100%

Certainly not much compared to Oda's buff that can give up to +150 flight, but it's something.



Gawain's buff seems to work differently. It looks like it's a random fire buff:

~60% chance: +20 Fire
~25% chance : +30 Fire
~10% chance: +50 fire, 20%/1 fire passive with 1mil cap
~4% chance : -10 Movement Speed
~1% chance: -50 Fire, -10 Movement Speed

30 second duration, 120 second cooldown, with cooldown shared between weapons. Could keep it active constantly with enough cooldown cut, I think.

The outfits also unlock some other skills, the usage of which should be apparent by using a skill and checking its description in the Skills menu. The new skills have wind element portions in addition to the partner's usual elements.

Good stuff. I'm interested in the scroll exchange implementation. Maybe they'll do something similar for the other partners as well.

How can I beat Mephistopheles?

There are other players better at me than this, but here goes:

i. The quest dungeon will not allow you to use your other partners, so you will need to learn the attack patterns by trying the dungeon multiple times before making a serious attempt.

ii. There are openings before/after its attacks that allow you to do damage. One such opening is at the very start of the fight. At a certain point in the fight it even goes into 'overheat' mode and just lets you pound away at it.

iii. You will be running around a lot and anything that adds to movement speed (Rapid Storm, Moon King, Accessories, Titles,) will help a lot.

iv. The most annoying attack is it's wide area poison causing attack, which you will need to perfect guard every hit.

v. It is weak to Wind and Mountain elements so try to make use of it.

vi. There are also videos on how other people cleared it that might help. If I remember the first time around it took me more than 45 mins. Hopefully it won't take you that long if your damage output is high.



...or, you could just get someone to carry you.
