Meph seems to crush me when I solo.

Yeah, both fights with Meph are ridiculous, the first one if you don't have a Mount to protect yourself from that stupid shockwave attack.

If you still need help, I'd be glad to assist. I hate that boss with a passion, and any excuse to kill it is good enough for me.

It's not as hard you make it out to be, if you learn the pattern it's quite easy to beat, the only real issue is having enough dmg to kill it on harder difficulties. Spend one run learning it's attack patterns and what it does at each phase and then destroy him.
