Post anything you know about the Frigid Wolf especially elemental resistance and tips on clearing the quest. How do people get the boss elemental numbers?

I'll do my bit then;

-I got a frozen hell magatama recipe from it. Didn't notice if it was a drop or reward.
-It is weak to fire and strong against ice. So far as I can tell it's just so-so against most other elements.
-Makami seems to react to player movements, unleashing more combos while I'm dodging as compared to when I'm facing it head on.
-Like most boss fights, timing is key, but I have yet to complete it efficiently. keep getting damaged and cheap shots. Not sure how everyone else is doing, but I have only been able to complete each fight in an agonizing 12-15mins.

Weak to Mountain, Fire, and somewhat weak to Rain and Impact.
