In Thailand, there's a game name ECO(Emil Chronicle Online) opened about 5 years ago. In it's first open beta, the maximum exp for level up is *100 of beta server and original game from Korea and Japan (means you have to grind 100 times harder for a level) resulted in almost 80% of all players quit in 3 months and the company have to adjust the EXP rate to normal after that but it cannot bring back what have already lost.
I don't want to see this game repeat the history since this is closed beta it can still be fixed and adjust to an acceptable rate. Staffs please reconsider this issue.

Wait... wat.... DFBHSBKJGDGKDKGBADKFGBAKDFBGADK!!

NUUUUUU!! I-I haven't tried the game yet because of the downloading of contents taking quite some time (ultimately resorted to torrent). When I first created my character, I said "wow, the graphics is good, I can't wait to experience the gameplay".

But then I saw this... umm, IDK, I played a lot of online games and all of them required grinding, sure, but if you're below level 30 (assuming there are still 20+ levels before the Max Level) and grinding for a few levels is already very hard/takes a lot of time... that would be... *sobs*

Game Administrators, puh-lease, at least, like these other people have suggested; adjust the EXP rates, especially once the game has officially launched.

I don't know what the max level is currently at, but at least make it less harder for us to reach at least 10 levels below the max level. DX Or an EXP rate that is guaranteed to make the new players want to stay. Q_Q

Yeah, although I can't say for sure what the max level is, in Japan there are players at least lvl 90+
Exp there is fine with quests at around lvl 10 being at least 1000+ exp most ranging from 2000-7000 each.
And even if you don't do the quests there are some dungeons that have a lot of exp which are good for decent paced grinding.
I'm not sure whether Cyberstep meant with this exp whether it is a coding error or if they were messing around with exp rates.
Chocolate~
This game trolls me.
Entire character nupped lvl 34 EnAlpha
Blind at Sekigahara 'cept fer sky in JpCBT ~lvl 32ish?
En: SeekerFate - lvl 89 SeekerDissonance - lvl 61 -> 81
Can't believe I'm back, for now.

To give some credit where it's due, dungeons are insanely quick if you party up (Also seems to net you higher quality and more frequent loot, from what I've seen) making it possible to have the exp start rolling in, especially with Cave of Dreams. Best part imo is you get full kill credit just for supporting, so healing doesn't suck like it does in some games.

I really don't think the exp rate is THAT bad, it's just much faster on JP server from the sounds of it. You haven't suffered a devastating grind until you've went from 92 -> 95 on Everquest 2 with no exp potions, no vitality, and no group to help you out :P literally 5 hours = 1 level.

Me and a friend of mine have been running hell mode on most dungeons at low levels, and this is our first time playing this game.

I think our senpai's need to step it up.

But it stands to reason that if something does not change, the length of time it takes will just continue to grow as one gets closer to the cap. This after all is how majority of MMO's work, so it's not far fetched to think there will be 5 hours per level in the near future unless something changes. Of course since they are wiping accounts at the end of CBT, they can (and should) play with the exp rates to find a good balance while it won't be detrimental to the game overall. I'm sure most of us here have all played Asian grinders, it is something the East is well known for, but I've never played a game where the grind started so early, and that included EQ.
