Twin Blades. What should I put my upgrade points into?

Postby KiritoSAO » 06 Jun 2014, 13:51

Hi, I chosen the Daring type and I wanted to know what should I put my upgrade points into. I want to be a fast, power attacker. I also want a bit of HP regen. Can you help? Also what does all the stats mean like VIT for example.

dex gives you bow and dual sword damage, also boosts your crit. put most of your points there.
Vitality adds health and gives spear damage, also gives faster hp regen

the first one focus on ur damage, and the efficiency of sword, 2-hand sword and axe, basically the damage-dealer
VIT increase ur HP, HP regen and defense, and the efficiency of spear, basically the tanker / defender
DEX decrease ur skill cooldown and increase crit chance, and the efficicency of dual sword and bow
the other two is for wand and talisman.

if u're using dual swords, the damage is generally lower than sword and the other weapons on the power-type. However it attacks faster, skills are mostly fast slow-damage multiple-hit attacks. So increasing DEX, which allow u to call those skills faster with a high crit rate, would be the most effective. U can try increase some POW but it doesn't really have much differences.

up to u, if u want to u can always increase POW and DEX for a less fast and less crit-rate but more powerful dual swords. But I recommend getting pure DEX if u're gonna use dual swords all the way, it's more effective.

Seems Dual Blade, Bow, and Spear are pretty much in the same place -- low damage, but fast enough hits and okay damage skill-wise.

spear is not in the same place, they don't have much multiple hit skills, the attacks are not as fast. They have skills that boost defense, or push mobs, wide area attacks, and skills that attract attentions.

more like someone who run around getting chased by the mobs, so the other damage dealer can deal damage without worry much about his own health, or defend the bow users / healers / spell casters and keep mobs away from them.

Dual-swords and bows have more attack than other weapons. Developers tried to fix this combining more attack with crit attacks + range for bows.
But a all str - katana/daichi/axe user will beat you with "Oni's Dagger" no matter your stats full dex or pow+dex based because of str gives power+weapon efficiency. lol.
Giving all of your stat points to dex best way cuz of critical and weap efficiency. Use your mind and carry a Bow with you to take advantage with range.

That's true lol. Sadly, everytime I get a 'Taunt' spear to try and play defensively, the darn thing is one of those 80/80 unrepairable ones. Unless unrepairable weapons are a bug...Don't remember the item name, sadly, used them all as enchant mats as they broke XD

Have you seen the Guide section in the forum? It shows what stats are good for each type of build. I'm a daring-build myself.

those are "already broken" or u might call, trash weapons. Don't bother using it, don't even bother looking at the skills. The damage sucks, low durability and unrepairable. If u look at the skills and find a rare powerful skills, u will have a tearful experience when u have to put them as materials for enchantment.
