I've never seen so much butthurt manifested into a forum. Why do you guys want everything to be so easy? I'm not trying to be MLGPR0420, I'm just saying the game is a GOOD difficulty right now and it's slightly harder than most MMOs. I couldn't even imagine how easy this game would be with 10x experience and I promise you if the game came out in Dec of 2013 in Japan, I'd be a much higher level than 36...

Notice the EXP gains in this video of me in Maple in 2011 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChgSY-u6PSk
I consider that experience to be AMAZINGLY good. I used to train on Maple at 4% an hour so yeah, you guys just need to suck it up and learn to play. Pretty sure no one will ever be successful in this game if they think it's hard...

While the game isn't that difficult with these xp rates, the scaling of the weapons and dungeons are all wrong with it. While you might not care to play a game that takes tons of grinding others might not like it. Also... the games difficulty shoots up around Kyoto, with the way things are in this CBT it would take even more time to even come close to the end game than it should. The jp versions exp rates are perfect for the scaling presented in it.

Like I said.. you have no idea what you're talking about. You've seen less than 1% of this game's content.

I know how grindstory works, I got an Aran to Lv 170 pre-bb. Most boring game in existence.
You may have nothing better to do with your life but not everyone has 12+ hours to grind a day.

Boring enough that you got an Aran to 170 preBB? Prove it and I'll show respect. I'm not saying I have 12 hours a day to grind. This game is FAR from a grind. If I've seen less than 1% of this game's content then so has everyone else who is crying about it, so shouldn't we all collectively shut up?

Max level in onigiri right now is like 105+lvl.
I don't feel like grinding everyday 12 hours everyday for 1 month just to get around 35 lvl--.
Not all of us have that much time. Anyway even if you like low rates there is many that do not like it.
You can't think onky about yourself, just think how fast this game would die if they would do that.

If anything lower rates give the game more duration. No one has time to grind 12 hours a day and that's an assumption that it'll even take that long.

If players had it their way, they would be able to get to level 100 in one day. This is why everyone can't be a game designer because I'd say like 95% of casual players have ZERO concept of video game balance.

There werent really any other good f2p mmo's to play back then, I got bored of Maplestory and moved on Mabinogi, Nexon's other mmo they had and got to like level 3000 something. I'm not home at the moment to get pull some screenshots but if you look on Nexon's ranking thing my ign is Kazoshini
http://maplestory.nexon.net/rankings/ov ... earch=true

The difference between this and maple is that you didnt need to really need to grind til second job with pq's and such. But right now in Onigiri you have to grind before you even reach level 10.
Another thing that maple has is hacks everywhere, wz edits, exploits, bot trainers..
And no, people who played Alpha or the Japanese version already know the difficulty spike this game has later on, otherwise no one would be complaining and we'd be accepting it. You keep saying that people will finish the game too quickly but you really have no idea what you're talking about at all.

But what are you talking about right now we are not trying to be game designers. Current rates are not as their suppose to be. The JP developers have exp rates higher. There is even topic on forum that we have 1/10 of JP rates. How can you know that is is possible to get 100 lvl in one day? Have you actually achieved it on JP? Grinding is not that easy on 'normal' JP rates after 30 lvl.
It is not us 'casuals' that have no idea about video game balance. It is cyber step US who lowered exp rate of original JP version.
