I'm pretty sure several guys on this forum have beaten the Alpha version, as well as the JP CBT version. That alone would make it 50% if not 80% now.

so yeah, before you talk, try to do your research please?

So you're saying 80% of forumers have played the other versions? Quite an ambitious number...This game is so easy...

Hold up fellas. If the level cap is 105, then wouldn't the level 40 area be about 40% of the way through the content? not 1%?

@OP, glad you like the game - I like many parts of it as well. But if you have played the JP version, you'll understand that the common gripe everyone has regarding exp is that we're getting a watered down CB compared to theirs - it also frankly doesn't make sense to put players in dungeons supposedly 10 levels highers, what's the point with the gear and dungeon values then? JP CBT also had an inclusion of tons of new skills we didn't see in Alpha, and oddly now it seems we're still not seeing all the skills that should be there (unless they banished it to cash shop). I also don't know if they did weird things to the magic type classes, but currently the mana costs for magic are drastically higher than other testings, making it pretty difficult for wand to dish out effective AoE compared to other classes (it's either I don't know our current CBT way of coping, or the balancing team has gone off its rocker). So I suppose, the gripe is with the irregular numbers if you've played before - we're not certain why the English version is making these changes, we can easily grind the issue away (to a certain point), and we want some response from the GMs.

But ultimately I do still very like Onigiri's style, and I'm looking to see what OB/Release will do.

If levels were proportionate to content/experience, I suppose.

For instance, Granado Espada required you to hit level 100 to enter "veteran" level, and expert level required you to be level 110, etc. Levels 1-100 + veteran were quite frankly nothing, because expert level was where you actually became a presence in PvP. Also, the 10 levels from 100-110, each level took as long as 1-100. So, 1 expert level vs. 100 normal levels changes how far a person is in the content, because then you could access expert gear/dungeons, etc.

In Onigiri, I never played it past 50, so maybe there is something the equivalent of "expert" upcoming.

in Luna it's the same, the first 70 level is easy play, u can pretty much go through it in 2 hours with a new dungeon / quest open up after 1 level. Then to 70 it's a real grind fest with difficulty spiked up a lot and you can't really go through the first 3 dungeons without any help.

Keep in mind that 105 being the limit doesn't mean that the content ends at 105, it might end at 80 or something, with the rest of the levels are for hardcore grinding players.

Level 40 =/= 40% of content. Therea's more end game content than low level cotent.
Its not like
Level 10-20= 5 dungeons
30-40 5 dungeons
50-60 5 dungeons

No its more like
Level 10-20 = 5 dungeons
30-40 10 dungeons
50-60 15 dungeons
Etc
Thats just an example.

Content ends at 100, highest level dungeon is level 100 on normal so hard and hell have mobs that surpass the level cap.
They had to raise the cap to 105 recently for more content.
If you go to the fast travel area and press M you'll see this which still leaves room for more content

Not to mention, it's obvious how the leveling curve is increasing dramatically even at level 10-20 (a few hundred extra experience required per level) and yet dungeons experience rewards have increased by maybe 100, if that, from level 5 to level 20 dungeons.

I can earn about 400 experience from a level 14 Kishinden run or 400 from a level 23 Cave run. That's broken, especially with the experience curve rising so quickly... at such a low level. I'm sure at level 30, it WILL take a solid week of grinding to level up if the exp rates remain this way.

If anything, they need to at LEAST increase the exp from dungeon runs, they're ridiculously low and static, I literally ran Kishinden Hard about 30 times just to get half a level from 13.
