Most games now days are all noob friendly. I want a game where I won't hit max level in 2 weeks, but 2 years XD

im getting old for this slow exp, you know there is 20 city + villages we must reach for story line here in this game.

that mean bad idea, i recomended to increase the exp rate or people will go home.

o.o really? wow that's a lot :P I guess increasing it a bit would be okay, but as long as it's not so high that I'll be able to get ahead of the updates and available stuff to do XD

i wonder what the level cap will be. highest item i've seen was a level 70 craftable weapon from yoshitsune, so will it go into the 100s?

2... years? Sorry, I'll have better things to do in 2 years than to finally hit max level.. or rather, I'd rather not have to grind 2 straight years to just hit max level. That's an absurd amount of time and doesn't differentiate "newb" and "hardcore" gaming, just "tedious/obstinate" and "casual."

I don't get the obsession with calling any game that allows you to progress faster than a year a "newb-friendly" game. That's not really an accurate statement..

There isn't any need to reach max level. If we can clear lv50 content at lv30, there shouldn't be any problem with clearing lv105 content at lv60-70. It's not that low exp rates mean you won't be able to clear content, it just means you're going to need to actually think about your items and your bossing strategies (aka AI manipulation). I can't say for certain not having played the JP version, but from my CBT experience the game seems pretty alright, and given how easy Izumo and the weaker half of Kyoto has been with lv30+ items, I'd rather the exp rates not change, or at least not surpass 50% of the original values.

Please enlighten me if I'm missing something, it seems the majority are complaining about the low exp.

I've got the perfect game for you then. It's called EVE Online and it actually does take 3+ years to max out your character. while not exactly free to play the player can make it free to play through in game currency.

Liselotte wrote:Ok, here is a possbile scenario.

1.Official launch
2.Game is hyped people grind as much as they can.
3.Then people starts to realise that exp rates are too low
4. Part of players starts to leave and just get bored of grind.
5. CS add over powered aoe skills to gachapons, those skills are not obtainable from dungeons.
6. Some people got anoyed of that fact that CS is now only after money and they leave aswell.
7. Then there is a discussion on forum about lack of advertising, better events and updatse beside gachapons update to grab money.
8. Now even veterans get anoyed of that fact and their leave, randomly new player eneter the game but there is not many new players anymore that could help them.
9.So they leave either, because they do not feel like playing all the time alone not to mention exp rates.

But well it is just my point of view. No one have to agree with that.

Very similar to the other two CS games, heh.
